E.g. earth could orbit on of those suns, while both suns orbit each other around their center of mass. Or the earth could orbit the center of mass of both suns while both stars are on the inside. (See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Planets_in_binary_star_systems_-_P-_and_S-type.svg). What I wondered just now: would it be possible for a planet to orbit around the center-of-mass of both stars but INSIDE the stars' orbit? So that the orbital period of the planet would be shorter than that of the stars. Or would that orbit be unstable?
