Holiday Update:
Added 2022-11-30 01:37:11 +0000 UTCHey everybody! Hope you all’s November has been going well!
I’ve had a busy few weeks myself. For the past ten days, I’ve been moving all over. It’s been really nice seeing my family, and we did lots of hiking and cooking together. In the midst of all the traveling and holiday festivities, I also caught the plague! (I’m ok guys. It was mild, and I had a bottle of NyQuil through the worst of it. My nose is still raw though, haha.) So that was fun!
And now I get to hang out in Seattle for a while! (I’ve got a cat sit at a townhouse in capitol hill. It’s really nice! Just figuring out where to get an ORCA card and we can start going to see places. But we’re still recovering from the plague for now, so sightseeing will have to wait a little while.) so if you have any recommendations for places to eat or just fun parts of town to stroll through, I’d love to hear ‘em! I’m here for two more weeks, untill this guy gets back from Thailand, lol.
Now that I’m finally settled down at the cat sit— done visiting family and done being sick, that is— I was hoping to be able to start drawing again. BUT— one more curveball— in the midst of me having covid, and related covid brain fog symptoms— I left my laptop charging cord at my aunts house. And she lives an hour away. So, I won’t be able to draw on my laptop again until I get it back form her. Hopefully in a few days, but it depends on her schedule.
I had a feeling something like that might happen, so I’m glad I was able to get this month’s rewards done early. And I should be able to start drawing and posting regularly in December, once I get my charging cord back.
Anyway. The silver lining is that I can take these next few days to focus on catching up on work and writing fanfiction. Which, after the chaos of constantly moving around that last two weeks, I think I really need a few days of taking it easy. 😅
