The future

Hey everybody,

Not planning anything too dramatic for the immediate future, but how would ya'll feel about this patreon transitioning into a comic production account?

The shift would be, I would stop focusing on delivering sketches and illustrations, into solely focusing on delivering fully inked and colored comic pages.

A Jak comic, of course.

I would aim to deliver 3 to 4 pages per month, probably in batches, rather than single page updates. Though, there may be some months here and there where I'm unable to update with more than a page or two. (I'm hoping to get to Japan sometime next year, and that'll be a very crazy time for sure, if everything works out.)

But I'm hoping it would be a move achievable middle ground. Rather than dumping out quick messy sketches, or highly detailed illustrations-- just focusing on comic pages, which are cell shaded and not overly detailed.

See the "Gift" comic from a few months ago for an example.

(I already have a concept for a comic where Jak gets poisoned. and if you know anything about sexpollen, then you already know where this is going.)

This would come with a few changes to the tier system as well. I would probably delete the sketch suggestion offering from the Renegade tier class, since I haven't been as productive will requests as I thought I would be. And the Hero class will likely be dissolved all together, so that I can focus exclusively on delivering comic pages.

In exchange for losing those perks, I would probably make the access to the patreon discord and exclusive to the Renegade tier. But, otherwise, the difference between the Villager and Renegade tiers will be solely 'how much do you feel like supporting?' with no real difference in benefits received.

Especially with the amount of drawing I need to do for my work, I feel pretty confident that the amount of time I'll be able to give to this patreon will only decrease in the coming months/years. So I'll want to spend that time wisely, on content that you all really want, rather than promising more than I can realistically deliver.

Thank you all for your support. It really means so so much to me that you're all here, and I want to keep making things, even as I get busier. I love making art and it's so nice to be able to share with people who want to support me. So thank you all, so so much.
