TLDR: I am a cis Male writer that stepped in something foul.

For the moment, I'm going to pull the current page of J&G down for a script re-write. And I am very sorry for the implications.

Thanks to a commenter for pointing out that I was speaking a message that while intriguing, was -not- the message I wanted to send (even though I most certainly seemed to be saying it), and it was actually worse than what this commentor indicated.

The two beings on the lead page were speaking in terms of human identity and using the word "woman" and "womanhood" and implicitly saying that neither of them was really what the appeared to be.

Basically, the implication that there are monsters pretending to be women that are preying on men.

Yeah, I don't know how I could be so stupid as to write a script that way. While it's true that these two beings are monsters with human guises is allegory that belongs in someone else's story.

Playing with that trope is really not something that I have any business writing. I have a complicated sense of identity, but I do not want to put anything out into the world that even -implies- that transwomen are preying on cis men. It's disgusting, it harms a community that needs protection, and I want my work to be, if anything, empowering for people struggling with identity.

And I am very sorry if the script made anyone feel unsafe reading it. I cannot believe I was so dumb.
