2021-02-26 21:51:36 +0000 UTCI don't know either, since I rely on the generosity of someone else to develop the player. As such, I wouldn't count on anymore features being added.

2021-02-24 03:35:12 +0000 UTCwas more meant as a general thought but yes, in your case sometimes its there and sometimes not. i dont recall if your interactives had keyboard input even with disabled interface from the top of my head though but yeah. H0rs3 also used to have options to set the lengh of the animation which lead to loops being repeated more often or less before leading to the next scene. don't ask me if thats hard or easy to implement though. I just liked that when he still used it

2021-02-23 13:53:08 +0000 UTCThe interface can be "undocked" at will, but you're correct that keyboard input hasn't always been present, i'll try to do a better job at making sure they're there.

2021-02-23 09:28:59 +0000 UTCOf course, *science*!

2021-02-23 09:27:18 +0000 UTCUnderstandable, they're also the most difficult to make. :P

2021-02-23 09:26:29 +0000 UTCWhat you say is correct, but there is an additional factor and that is render time. There is of course value in a more fluid camera track, so it is nevertheless something worth exploring :)

2021-02-23 09:26:06 +0000 UTCto watch a clean progression of the experience, i usually just go for the video. to watch each scene to the most of the content provided, i'd watch the interactive. sometimes i'd watch the interactive when it's new to me, then if i ever want to re-watch, the video is there too.

2021-02-23 05:38:29 +0000 UTCI usually enjoy the transitions more than the looped sections, oddly enough!

2021-02-22 19:58:04 +0000 UTCThe interactive is great at letting the user linger on the shots they enjoy and/or time things for maximum 'enjoyment', the video version is nice since you're able to keep a personal copy. That said, the interactive seems like it would restrict camera movement slightly since you need steady shots during the loops. Not that you want MrSafetyLion levels of nausea-inducing rock, but an experiment in a video-only animation might free the camera a bit

2021-02-22 18:28:20 +0000 UTCwell often I watch the video but I also like interactive animations especially if they support navigating with the keyboard as well even when the interface is disabled. When that is not the case I prefer the videos because i hate interfaces

2021-02-22 17:48:45 +0000 UTCI generally enjoy the currated experience you create more than trying to make my own. I will, however, occasionally use something like VLC to loop a specific section of a video. You know, for science >.>
