Our Christmas Gift: The Pyramid Puzzle Hunt

Hi Patreons!

Thanks so much for supporting our channel.  We are delighted to bring you a fantastic Christmas present - a puzzle/sudoku hunt by some wonderful constructors: PjotrV, Panthera and Aspartagcus. You can access this puzzle hunt by going to this URL: https://amgine.nl

The password you need to open the file is CLEOPATRA. If you can reach the end of the hunt, there is a one-word answer that you can send to us at crackingthecryptic@gmail.com

There will be a shout-out for the first five correct answers on the channel, as well as a prize for the first entry, and another entry drawn after 31st December - we're not expecting any correct entries within the first 24 hours! This is meant to take you all the holiday period.

But you WILL love the puzzles. Once again, thanks to PjotrV, Panthera and Aspartagcus, and also to all of you guys for supporting us. Happy Holidays!

"Don't get stung" is too hard for me, are there hints somewhere when the challenge is completed? I tried to join discord but I am not comfortable sharing my phone number so that's not an option.

I'm late/new to this, but this is just awesome. All the puzzles so far were great, but I loved the Carpet Houses. The rules were really intuitive and the solve method was uber thematic. CTC is easily the best value patreon proposition I've come across.

Thanks to the setters for their Herculean efforts. Finally finished this yesterday. I do admit to cheating on a couple as they were puzzle types I don't really get on with. Now I will try to get my life back, but may suffer withdrawal symptoms.

I'd thought it might be something like that, but I'd been looking at the narrower blue sections instead of boxes 1/9. Even with the hint, that puzzle didn't go down easy, but I eventually cracked it, so thanks for your help!

If you list out all the various combinations for X/V/white/black, to determine what combinations of numbers can be ruled out as adjacent due to the negative constraints in Box 1/9, you can eventually determine some numbers that have to be tucked into corners and what surrounds them, which majorly limits the options for the center square, sort of a modified magic square setup. And then using the interaction with the V squares in intersecting row 3 and column 9 you can eventually figure out how to orient the numbers in boxes 1/9.

I've thoroughly enjoyed this puzzle hunt, but the 100% challenge has defeated me, largely thanks to Ra's Miracle Squares. How are on earth do you even start that puzzle? At any rate, thanks to all the constructors for their hard work!

I didn't get very far because I'm pretty much a beginner puzzler, but man did I enjoy the puzzles I managed to unlock! My favorites were Carpet Houses, Palindromic Cobra and Sandban. They were done beautifully!

Defeated by Edifis, and the riddle is just a wild guess. But that doesn't matter. Thanks PjotrV, Aspartagcus and Panthera for this great puzzle hunt. It was a lot, but also a lot of fun!

Simply loving this. It is the gift that keeps giving.

Being new to this Patreon, this is my first puzzle hunt and I am amazed by the intricacy and design of it all. Just...wow! Thank you to all the puzzle creators! I have only made it through five puzzles so far, and really enjoyed learning how to solve the different types of puzzles. I think I’m going to need to get on Discord for some help soon. . .anyway I just wanted to say thanks for the creativity and challenge!

Hello all. I'm gettin along quite nicely with the hunt. Just wondering if someone can tell me how many puzzles there are, so I know when to stop going over and over and trying all the routes... Thanks

This is what I imagined how a hunt would be when I first became patron. Thanks
