In the uncut version, Kristen Dunst’s character gets pregnant by that doctor while theyre having an affair. She gets really upset when he tells her that she needs to get an abortion because he’s married. That sent her over the edge because she ends up getting the abortion and is so mad, she has her memories of him erased.

Kirsten Dunst fell in love and had an affair with the doctor, and then had it erased, but fell in love with him all over again. The theme of the movie is basically we are who we are, and will repeat our actions, regardless. We will end up with the people we were meant to be with.

Elijah Wood was just a skeevy dude that stole Clem's underwear and used all of Joel's stuff to try and get into Clem's pants. BJ's got it figured it out.
