SURVIVING PURGE update #22

Hello dear Grizzzzzlies !

I'm cumming to give you an update on Surviving Purge! The super talented Vliir has made good progress on the assets, and the universe is gradually taking shape. He's completed the main sets for the part that will take place in the wolf district, and has also created some new characters that I'll briefly introduce to you.

The wolf district

Wolves are highly advanced technologically, neck and neck with superior humans. The wolves refuse to use inferior humans as slaves, as they are self-sufficient and respect humans far too much to “use” them. They have agreed to work closely with the superior humans on the design of Purge's central district. They are gentle and mischievous by nature, and sports (with a ball) are an integral part of their culture. They may be technologically advanced, but life in their neighborhood is a lot less restricted than that of the superior humans.

The mech hangar

At the request of the superior humans, the wolves are working on the design of huge mechs that will be used (possibly) to defend themselves against alien races, once they've left Earth's atmosphere.

Parkour Ball

Parkour ball is the most popular sport in the Wolf district. It's played in teams, on a field with obstacles. The aim is to score goals in the opposing camp. The special feature of this game is that whoever has the ball must not be touched by a member of the opposing team, or they will have to let go of the ball and remain motionless for 3 seconds.

Nutz the mechanic

He's Dash's best friend, with whom he spends every day working at the mech hangar, but Nutz is also Dash's favorite Parkour ball teammate!  Dash is secretly in love with him...

Boras the chief mechanic

He supervises the construction of the mechs and is Dash and Nutz's superior. Grumpy by nature, he has become a close friend of Dash and Nutz over the years.

Further development

Now that we have the last animation, a new version will be available soon (I think, end of next month)! Chewy is currently working on Terry's combat system, so I'd rather not disturb him to give him time to finish that feature before he gets back to Surviving Purge (might as well strike while the iron's hot 🙃).
