I'm cuming to give you the latest developments on Surviving Purge and to announce the release of the public demo!

We're thrilled to announce that the Surviving Purge public demo is now available on itch.io! Just a reminder: it contains around 60% of the content of the current Patreon release. Feel free to share it with potentially interested friends... 👀
Despite anticipating the Steam release, the game's page has been validated, but not the demo. I could write a whole story about this: Steam is pretty demanding, and every time something goes wrong according to them, it pushes back a new check of the page or your build by 3 to 5 days. This was a mistake on our part, and unfortunately we didn't get around to it early enough, so the demo will only be released on itch.io initially. If you're an indie developer, here's my best advice: Create your Steam page as early as possible and post the build of your game/demo several months in advance of your announced release date! This can take much longer than you think.

Yes, there's already a new version of the game on the way! It will contain all of Act 1 of the Goblin Quarter. Vliir has finished all the assets, and I'm currently integrating all the dialogue and sound design. We're also still waiting for the final animations from Animas Animus, and Chewy also has some new soldiers to code.

The game will be divided into 5 acts:
Act 1: At the goblin's
Act 2: At the reptile's
Act 3: At the orc's
Act 4: At the minotaur's
Act 5: At the superior human's
I prefer to make this clear, as I know it can be confusing. In parallel, you'll also have adventures in the centaur, wolf and demon districts, but there will be no tower defense level in the latter (you'll understand why in the scenario).
As you can imagine, Surviving Purge continues to take up a lot of my time, which is pushing back my work on Terry and the cold pizza. I need to get ahead on the writing and level design of Surviving Purge (which remains our priority) so that Vliir can get on with the assets. Chewy has finished making the changes to Robin Morningwood that I mentioned in the last update, and will start developing the new version of Terry this week. My aim would be to get the next version of Surviving Purge out before spending some time on Terry again, so that we can at least get a prototype out.
