If you think Subaru is a bad protagonist, than i'm sorry, but a Anime Protagonist who gets ultimate Strong without weakness, after a short flashback is way worse, add dead parents and we are complete.

Even if it's well received by creators and the audience... it's still over 1000 episodes man... (quick maffs: even at 5 eps per week it'll take over 5 years once one piece reaches it's end)

One Piece is another anime thats going to make that even harder. I think you should finish some shows up before you continue to watch One Piece. Also let it be noted that it is a very long anime and ive seen a dozen "Anime Reactors" go down the path to watch it and it can quickly turn into a One Piece Channel than a Anime reactions channel. Im not shitting on One Piece at all, hell i havent watch 1 episode of it so i cant judge it. Just as a parteon perspective i wanted to give you a heads up Nick that in the long run you will attract a lot of one piece fans but you will loose some loyal fans to you as well. This isnt a threat or anything, i just wanted to speak my mind sense im with you for the long haul.
