Coming Very Soon to Talking Simpsons: Seasons 13 and 3!

Hey folks,
We've mentioned it offhandedly more than a few times on our podcasts, but here's a little post to make everything official. Starting with the first Talking Simpsons episode in March, we'll be alternating between seasons 13 and 3. This means we'll kick off next month with season 13's Treehouse of Horror XII, jump back to season 3's Stark Raving Dad the following week, and so on. (And, of course, push these dates forward one week in time if you're not a patron.)
Since the beginning of 2020, we've had a blast giving these early episodes the time and attention we couldn't give them when we were doing Talking Simpsons after our day jobs, and having recorded a few of these already, I can tell you it's definitely been worthwhile. Thanks again for all of your support, and get ready for our thorough examination of season 13, and our thorough re-examination of season 3!

I think it was right after we first moved in together, which was pretty soon in our relationship, back when we lived in rural Pennsylvania. It was really just a perfect day. The idea of listening to an even better version as I go for a run with him here in Los Angeles, where we now reside (both of us had dreamed of living here since childhood) brings just the biggest smile to my face. I can't wait!

2022-02-17 18:42:49 +0000 UTCOn the one hand, I feel like you did a good job covering season 3 the first time around. On the other, season 13 is pretty rough and this would break up the drudgery of that. Plus I haven't watched season 3 since you guys originally covered it.
