This was a great episode, can’t wait for the one on Return of the Joker. I might have to rewatch Batman Beyond again, especially because I remember that Egg Baby episode being better than it should’ve been but I need to be sure. Also, this understandably didn’t make it into your episode, but as a huge Batman fan I was so happy to Ace the Bathound get his due.

2021-03-18 07:24:11 +0000 UTCThank you for the history on Darwyn Cooke! I did not know he designed the opening for Batman Beyond until I started rewatching the series on HBO Max & saw his credit. I'm a big fan of his work & would highly recommend to fans of his AND the film noir feel of BTAS, his adaptations of the PARKER crime novels by Richard Stark especially THE HUNTER filmed as POINT BLANK (1967) starring Lee Marvin. And put me down solidly in the camp of those that did NOT like the plot twist of the appearance of Terry McGuinness in Justice League. What attracted me to the character in the pilot was that his meeting with Bruce Wayne was random & that in effect anyone could become the next Batman. That JLA plot twist destroys that premise in the same way that only those with midichlorians can become Jedi. It was that bad. Great episode, guys!
