Well, I'm not sure how much that credit should be given to LBJ? He got those through, not by some huge enthusiasm on his part, but because there were strong radical movements pushing for them. But yes, he did have a comically large penis which he liked to show off. That's worth renembering good ol LBJ for!

2018-03-24 00:47:07 +0000 UTCLBJ was an incredibly flawed man and Vietnam was an unforgivable disaster, but the legislation that became law during his time (Medicare/Medicaid/Civil Rights) is still probably the best example of Democrats getting shit done in a big and meaningful way. I'd much rather have an LBJ in the Senate right now than a Schumer Also I feel like not enough people know that LBJ had a massive dick that he called "Jumbo" and he used it to basically bully congressmen into voting his way. They don't whip votes like that anymore
