Fun fact, the Bad Guys 2 had a deleted subplot regarding Kitty's backstory, where when she was younger she was Diane Foxington's protegee and sister in crime. There's an unused animatic and a lot of great unused concept art from those scenes in the official art book (which I got recently and have been studying!). This pic is inspired by the cut content, back during Diane's Crimson Paw days when life was still good with Kitty. (The concept art for young Kitty was super cute!)
There are multiple understandable reasons why Kitty's backstory didn't make it into the final film, although part of me wishes the movie could have been a half hour longer, too!
Also I came up with what I think was a pretty clever technique for "rendering" a bathtub full of diamonds that was kind of hilariously simple. Let's see if anyone guesses what it was.

I agree TBG2 is better than the first movie, but I think it would’ve been even better had this deleted scene remained in the film.

Though, since he brought up the cut storyline of Diane and Kitty knowing each other before, it highlights how this story could've made the movie even better IMO. The Bad Guys 2 movie is a slight upgrade to the OG film (BG2 is a 8.0, where the OG was a 7.5/10), but maybe it's because of a leaked plot details that Diane actually knew the Bad Girls before turning good, as well as how much of the films being a loose adaptation of the books series, that I think the emotional core could've hit even harder when a big moment happened at the end of the 2nd act, which I will not spoil here for those who have yet to watch the film. Regardless of that, I enjoy seeing this sketch as a What If scenario.
