Technical difficulties

Figures that as soon as I am finally caught up with my work, my brand new tablet dies on me. I am still trying to get through the RMA process with the manufacturer and they are being frustratingly slow to respond to my latest email, but as soon as the screen started failing I knew I was going to need it repaired or replaced, which was going to end up interfering with my work.

Until the manufacturer sends me a working tablet I am going to have to switch back to my old Wacom Intuos. For those unfamiliar with these art terms, the tablets I've been using for the last few years have been screen tablets, whereas the Wacom Intuos sits on the desk disconnected from the screen. I will do my best to keep the quality consistent with what you guys have come to expect although it will be frustrating to get used to drawing that way again, and it might affect how long it takes me to finish my projects.

Here's hoping I get the tablet replaced right away! It's a very frustrating situation to go through because I was in love with this tablet from the moment I started using it to the day it started malfunctioning, and with shipping times being what they are these days I am expecting to have to go several weeks without it-- potentially longer if customer service keeps dragging their feet!

If this month turns out to be a dumpster fire and customer service hasn't got this sorted by Halloween, I might have to suspend Patron charges for November. Hopefully it doesn't come to that though, so the current plan is to git gud at drawing on the Intuos again so that I can still get my work done.
