Regarding this month's polls
Added 2017-08-31 18:47:03 +0000 UTCSince during August I did my initial coloring poll at the beginning of the month, I think it would be for the best that I start the new poll at the beginning of September. The backer-nominated poll is something new for the month of September and I think the smart thing to do would be to space the two polls out enough so that I can give myself enough time to have one finished before the other starts.
The timeline is looking like as follows:
September 4 (Monday): The standard pic poll goes live; I make the $10 and up post where backers can nominate a sketch for coloring
September 8 (Friday): the standard poll ends and I start drawing the winner during the weekend
September 12 (Tuesday): backer nominations are officially announced and the polls start
September 22 (Friday): Winner of the backer poll are announced and I begin drawing it during the weekend
Where things would (hypothetically) get interesting is if there were more than 4 backer nominations. If that were the case there could be some runoff voting, although I don't think we're at that point yet.
