Making of a Song Series by Taylor Swift Reaction (Patreon Exclusive) Swiftie Conversion Ep.♾️ ♫

GOOD AFTERNOON ARDENT FAMILYYYY, I hope you enjoy today's reaction for the Making of a Song series by Taylor herself. The effort and quality she puts into her songs never fail to baffle me because of how important this really is to her. She gets frustrated, happy, excited, and she always perseveres within her life for anything. No idea what video I'll be doing tomorrow so I'll go look in the comments for some random ones I missed and I'lll get those out for here. ILY GUYS SO MUCH!!

It’s so weird hearing Delicate without everyone screaming “123 LET’S GO BITCH!”

Catherine Seiwert

YOU MISSED "DON'T BLAME ME!!!" Someone probably told you already, but I think you have to search for it specifically. Maybe post a bonus 5-10 minute reaction for it tomorrow? Love the new setup. Can't wait for more!

Okay halfway through at Getaway Car where you talked about all the takes and dedication and how it seems like a lot…. In my humble opinion, I think that’s one of the things that separates Taylor from a lot, if not most, artists. A lot of artists don’t really write their songs or have very little to do with the writing process. When you look at the writers credited on Taylor’s songs vs other artists, she’ll have 1-3 while others have 10+, and it’s not because she just doesn’t credit people like some claim, lol! She truly works for and crafts her art which makes her massive success that much more admirable!!!

So great getting to see the process! Yes, Taylor is talented but she’s also extremely hard working, and she really lights up doing her “job”, it’s her calling in life. There are a lot of artists with talent but they don’t put in the work or get caught up in drugs or whatever. For 20 years, Taylor’s been giving it her all.

FINALLY got to watch it! 15 hours later.. 😂 Omg so worth it Izzy - thank you, I knew you’d love it! 🙏🏼 Btw we all love her curly hair too - there’s this ongoing joke in the fandom “hide her straighteners” 🫣😅 After you finally get to watch the eras tour, you should look up some footage from her rain shows 🌧️ She LOVES a rain show, and I was lucky enough to witness one in Hamburg last year - she/the stage/EVERYTHING was soaking wet after only a few songs, which meant her hair went back to its factory settings for the rest of the night - as an OG Swiftie it made the night even more perfect seeing her live for the first time with the curly her I’ve loved since 2007 🥹

Jack has his own band called Bleachers. In terms of being a mega producer, he credits Taylor for getting his foot in the door. She pushed for him to be one of the producers on 1989 and has worked with him ever since.

Maggie

They’re so talented all of them!! Absolutely insane to watch them!!! Wish they did this more often!!!

Stephanie Smith

i also have trypophobia lmao i hate ittt

jemimaaa

ooh if you're interested in reacting to other artists after taylor, i think maisie peters is so underrated and i wish more people would check out her album 'the good witch'!! pop and fun but also she has some really great lyrics (my favourite: "baby, I am the Iliad, of course you couldn't read me")

jemimaaa

So Jack sent Taylor a track for 1989 and she loved it, recorded vocals for it on a plane and sent him a voice memo back. Her label wanted to get her a better known producer and she insisted on using him. She's damn loyal and they are so tight ever since. When you do 1989 definitely do the Grammy Museum videos where she talks about making some of the tracks, including playing original voice notes. And then kickass unplugged performances of some. You will absolutely love it.

Ian Hillan

LMAOAOAO, I didn’t even realize I did it 🤣🤣 that’s hilarious omg

Izzy ca

UGH I KNOW!!! Someone else said something as well and I was like WHATTTTT 😭😭

Izzy ca

When your candle wax fell you did the "Ghosts" meme and I'll never recover 🤣😂🤣😂

Ian Hillan

Loved this Izzy!! I love seeing this side of Taylor as well, she is just so creative and talented! It is so crazy to me that still to this day some people are convinced she does not write all her songs, while videos like this exist clearly showing she is very much involved not only in writing the song, but the production too! Taylor started working with Max Martin and Shellback on the album Red with We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, and then Max was the main co-producer on the 1989 album aka the pop bible :) Jack Antonoff came in in 1989 as well (they made another song together between Red and 1989 actually called Sweeter Than Fiction, but that was a stand alone single for a movie), and he has worked on every album with Taylor since. Can't wait for the next album reactionnnn! 🫶

monika

GIRL. You missed the best one! Go immediately and search "Making of Don't Blame Me". You won't be sorry. I don't know why that version doesn't have all of them smh. This was so fun to watch with you, especially since you're an artist too. I could watch her create all day. Why can't that be a job?

Ivy

LOL, it was a super late upload if I’m being honest, it was this morning for me as well, I’m in Australia but I post on California time 🫠 I fell asleep editing 😭

Izzy ca

Can’t wait to watch this! 😍 but arghhh.. now I have to wait alllll day 😩 Was hoping “tomorrow” for you meant last night for me, so I stayed up so late - and then it came out while I was asleep 🥲😂 Good morning from Denmark 👋🏼🇩🇰😅

Cathrine Ahm

AHH tysm for your comments always!! Taylor specifically has been one of the few artists to really inspire me and motivate me to keep working on some little tunes of my own LOL. Reacting to her is SOOO much fun and diving into this little universe makes it so worth it with you guys helping me! 💐💐

Izzy ca

I love watching people react to these and it inspiring artists to then go work on their craft 🫶🫶 Thanks for always being awesome and a fun watch!

Erin Smith

maybe wait until you listen to the 1989 album before you watch the grammy sessions. she gives too much of the album away if you haven't heard the songs yet

Mex

Omg I missed one?? Okay I’ll throw that in as well tomorrow LOL, speed run before Lover

Izzy ca

taylor had to beg her label to let her work with max martin. scott borchetta really didn't want taylor to have a more pop sound. he wanted her to stay in country music. so she only got to work with max on we are never ever getting back together, 22, and i knew you were trouble on the red album. on 1989, she got to do a lot more with max and shellback and got to work for the first time with ryan tedder from OneRepublic. she first worked with jack in 2013 on sweeter than fiction (for a movie soundtrack), then 3 songs on 1989 and 6 songs on rep. jack is one of her closest friends, she is good friends with his wife, margaret qualley. he defends her in public (he goes hard at kanye any chance he gets - made fun of him on the tonight show and told him to change his diaper), and is a stan of her music (he famously tweeted "august forever" on the day folklore came out. they match each other's energy well. both nerdy and a bit awkward and very intelligent

Mex

30:22 ... During The Eras Tour, Taylor had Jack join her as a surprise guest on stage one night during the "surprise song" session, and they sang a mashup that included Getaway Car, and they paused just before the bridge and re-enacted this part, word for word including her "aaaaggghhh"

Bruce Brown

You should definitely react to The Eras Tour Concert Film!!!

Niya

There is one more video with Don't Blame me. You can tell Taylor and Jack are really great friends. They are more natural and have fun with each other. More than with Max.

Richard

i'm not sure why don't blame me is missing from this comp but here it is!! to this day i still believe that this video has some of the most powerful raw tay vocals https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMtj6_nxRKw

lillian!!

Just finished a long day/long drive and this was a great chill down. NEXT? THE GRAMMY SESSIONS!!! Talks about making 1989 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVGbjszns3A and then sings solo!

Helen W

LMAOAO, I didn’t know we had GHOSTS in this fandom??? 🫠💐

Izzy ca

Oh, Izzy is going to learn a bit of TayLore...'ghosts'

Bruce Brown

Oh I would love to dive into either one of them for sure. Lana I’ve heard a few songs from but again like I’ve never done full albums by her! Same with Sabrina too 🤌🏼

Izzy ca

11:11 timing is so crazy!! I didn't even plan that! Glad you're here! 💐💐

Izzy ca

🤣🤣 It's never a successful upload without your insomnia comment honestly

Izzy ca

I think you should do Lana Del Rey and/or Sabrina Carpenter after Taylor !

Danny Thomas

Hell yeah! What a way to wrap up a a Friday night! 11:11pm so this is right on time!!! 💥💥💥💙💙💙

I am awake at all hours. 😀
