Gao Chongβs finest and saddest episode! Their actor was SO GOOD! That destruction of the glazed armor was such a good scene! And ah, that would make more sense about the tower having the names of the dead from the battle on it, thank you for clarifying that! AHAHAHA Ye BaiYi is here to be a cockblock! πXD Or a dispeller of flirtation at the least! And WOW, I really was NOT expecting Zhao Jing so this surprise just slaid me! And yesss, he is so baby for Daddy Jing, so it seems. That is interesting to note the Netflix translation, so thank you for that! YBY and WKX are such rivals in the most silly way but I love it! ZZS is just standing in the corner rolling his eyes. YES, this is the best Shen Shen has looked! Heβs one who has been βmade hot by the TrAuMa.β I guess itβs okay to be interested in BOTH murder husband sets! ;) And yes, ZZS and WKX are practically βthatβ couple - we just need the censors to completely turn away! π Oohhhhhh, that makes more sense about the TragiComic Ghost point, thank you for clarifying! 2025-05-19 13:29:30 +0000 UTCThe "Come at me, bro" pose π Really Gao Chong's episode (at least the first part) π₯Ί The pillar that Feng Xiao Feng had his companion destroyed I believe had the names of the dead from their battle. The disrespect to destroy that would be kind of the equivalent of destroying a monument to those who died in World War I or World War II. Gao Chong's actor does such a fantastic job in this episode to make you truly emotional over his choice. By destroying the Glazed Armour though it really shows how many of the others fighting for so-called righteous reasons cared more about the Glazed Armour than actually fighting for just reasons. Romania: You know how danmei do in a cave, though? Ye Bai Yi: *throws body into cave* I am here to prevent too much flirtation happening! I was highly anticipating your reaction to the reveal of Zhao Jing as the Scorpion King's Yifu after thinking it was Prince Jin last episode π The show does a really good job of hiding his identity until this exact moment. But I adore seeing this other side to Scorpion King's character. He becomes so baby when around Zhao Jing π₯° Just one point with the term Scorpion King uses for Zhao Jing, Yifu, it's translated to 'Father' in your subs and 'Godfather' in the Netflix subs. I believe the term is more a term of respect that puts the person on par with the respect given to a person's actual father. Ye Bai Yi versus Wen Ke Xing gives me so much life π Like both of them are meant to be full grown adults and yet they're both such bickering children with each other. I love our little gremlin grandfather/boomer π₯° Dishevelled, grief-stricken Shen Shen definitely is the best he's looked. The rain helps I reckon π It really does feel like you're cheating on Zhou Zishu and Wen Ke Xing by being so intrigued about Xie'er and Zhao Jing's relationship. Highest of praise though to all four actors for making you feel that way. Love the Zhao Jing and Littlefinger comparison! Romania: They're just a session of make-up sex away from being *that* couple. The perfect description for Zhou Zishu and Wen Ke Xing's relationship π The reason for the lack of bringing out the TragiComic Ghost to sacrifice is because technically this wasn't the actual Heroes Conference. Everyone just sort of arrived at the monument as the Five Lakes Alliance were finishing setting it all up (Episode 14). The others demanded that Gao Chong give them answers as they were all there, instead of waiting for the Conference (and also a way to prevent the Five Lakes Alliance from having more control over the event). Hooray to your conversion to the Scorpion King bandwagon! π₯³ Please collect your gift of jealousy over his hair and make-up and adoration over the switch up in his demeanour π
