another great reaction! i also found this movie to be very “meandering” but it was nice to see that jesse made it out ok. better call saul has a pretty similar vibe to it - that is, it requires a TON of patience for the payoff - and it wasn’t exactly my taste, but i’ll definitely stay tuned for y’all’s reactions! hopefully you’ll be more entertained than i was lol

2024-06-28 00:19:59 +0000 UTCI know Vince Gilligan and everyone has said the Breaking Bad universe is done now (after Better Call Saul) but it would be cool if in 10 years or so we got a sequel movie to see how Jesse is doing in Alaska. Then again, maybe it would be a boring one in which he's doin just fine

2024-06-22 06:54:33 +0000 UTCI wish Vince had written it sooner, so it was immediately after BB. My brain didn't like seeing a heavy Todd and an older Jesse. You were right, the Walter/Jesse scene was supposed to take place after 4 days out. Bryan had to wear a bad cap, since he was performing in a play at the time. Also, we didn't get to see what was in the letter to Brock, but Aaron Paul did. It's hanging on a wall at his home. I've seen written over and over again that this movie wasn't something we wanted, it was something we needed. Jesse survived and was able to begin again in Alaska.
