The dog was black and white ( = gray) and could represent the chiral opposites of D-methamphetamine (the street drug) and L-methamphetamine (used in nasal decongestants). The dog crossed the street and jumped away to where one "lives free or die"--where Walt was going. Whenever I see a youtube edit of this episode I always shout at my screen, "Show the dog, show the dog, show the dog!"

I myself have seen this show like 5 times now and I still got tears in my eyes watching that scene again. Season 1 is like a lighthearted comedy compared to these final episodes. Can't wait to see you guys watch the finale!!!
