Okay, so, I've been running TVB so long that approaching what to do next has been a challenge; I finally settled on a slasher horror romance comic, and have been able to come up with a detailed outline, but I realized about two months ago that... it just wasn't going to be ready in time. I spent a year writing TVB before I even drew a character sketch! I worried that I was rushing this new comic, and I didn't want to commit to spending another 4-5 years potentially working on something I was constantly making changes to as I worked on it.

So, rather than jumping right into the new long form comic, I thought about what I'd want to do for a short one shot, which is much easier to write and thumbnail, and I started thinking about this joke comic I made up for my Artist Alley box... Some folks were into it and I've already done the character design.... So...... I already wrote a script for it :))))))

So VERY IMPORTANTLY it's gonna be multisex omegaverse which I know isn't everyone's cup of tea; omegaverse became a really popular genre in original BL manga in Japan in the last few years, as well as becoming popular in original erotic fiction in the west, which always kind of bothered me a little because it feels weird to take a fandom concept and use it in original work, but it also bothers me because a lot of it is either really sanitized, or hetero, or otherwise just not my thing... So I became the monster and decided to do my own take on "original omegaverse".

Next month I'll be working on thumbnails only and some additional character design work, so I won't have a lot of updates for you, but if you're unsure about the idea, pls consider checking back in August when I should be able to start on the actual pages.

I'm also going to be working over a longer period of time on the slasher script, and hopefully by the time this comic ends I will be ready to start that one! I'll make sure to make a little announcement on tier 1 and on twitter when it will be starting in case you would like to come back for it. I'm hoping most of you have tastes close enough to my own that you will stick around for this one though!

P.S. Should I stick with the name Blood Covenant? 🤔 It's pretty tropey... 😂
