I'm Bamair1984, you can call me Danny, I'm in Singapore right now.
I just released the new model and then I went to the grocery store to buy some food.
After eating, I saw some friends here complaining about afdian.
So I want to talk to you guys, it will only take a few minutes, please please please read this thread.
I'm posting screenshots of "YangMe" here, I think I've done a very difficult challenge and I really just want to show off, please, can you let my little vanity be satisfied? Come on, it's not a marketing ad, I didn't post a promotional link.
I remember Mr. R (VIP member) asked me: what is your job?
I didn't officially answer that question. I've been unemployed since 2018, I have a degree in fashion design, an architect certificate, but I'm still unemployed, I'm not in the US, I'm in Asia, damn...
Now I'm here, running Patreon is my job and I release one model a month in afdian and that's all I do.
I was embarrassed and did not answer Mr. R's question.
There is a group of people in China who love my models and are willing to spend money for them, and then I would very much like to increase my income, so why not?
What is Afdian? Afdian is a site similar to Patreon.
I don't have a paid subscription service on Afdian, and you can't spend a few dollars to get all the models that are sold separately.
Afdian is a terrible Chinese site and I don't recommend spending money on it, but it's the only site left and I have no choice.
Yes, all models listed on afdian are sold separately.
If you hate me for doing this, I apologize and you regret paying for these Afdian models, I promise I can refund you.
If you like Chinese models, check out these models on Afdian and make sure what you are paying for is a model you really like for yourself.
Other than that, I'm happy now, I'm getting back to my previous state, and I just had a great weekend last week.
Oh, and watch out for the "V3" in the picture, those are my best models, and starting May 2024 they will be available for an $8 subscription.
Patreon is my main source of income. It's still my home base, and this month I'll be releasing "Audrey" and "Michelle".

Hi Rex Zhang.
My principles:
1. Don't use filters for screenshots.
2, Try to test the models in the game to make them look sexier and more beautiful.
3, Try to do the best you can.
Starting this year, I'll aim for 90% resemblance, if you're not satisfied, you can tell me and I'll try to improve.

I'm from Taiwan and, embarrassingly, I primarily use Chinese; my English is not very fluent. I have subscribed and purchased individual models on the Afdian website, which I found to be inconvenient in many ways.
As for your model's pricing and the sales strategy of differentiating between Europe/America and Asia, I wouldn't critique it. However, I think the main motivation for the unhappy subscribers is that they want more or specific realistic Asian character models, which are not available outside the Afdian channel, and of course, price is another issue.
Given the reality that the majority of creators offering Western models are overwhelmingly more numerous in the community, I myself, having subscribed for a long time, feel a significant degree of aesthetic fatigue. Other creators who provide Asian character models are limited by the production process, with Morph and Diffuse textures determining about 70% of the facial resemblance. So, everyone would probably prefer "models that look especially realistic."
Of course, I also understand that "unique faces represent especially complex, time-consuming productions." I would like to ask if it's possible to open different Tiers based on different needs, offer voting, or different commercial commission plans (such as completely exclusive, time-limited exclusive, non-exclusive commissions)? The creators I subscribe to often combine several of the aforementioned modes to offer different subscription Tiers. For instance, I would also really like to obtain some realistic Japanese character models. I believe there are many people and subscribers who have this need. With long production periods, less outputs, or even higher prices, I think as long as it's clearly explained, users would accept and decide what they can afford on their own.
The "YangMe" model has garnered opinions from subscribers, which from another perspective, just shows that "subscribers really like such works" and "such works will be popular." We all know a harsh truth: "Most realistic character models, even with filter effects, always look significantly different from the actual person, especially those created by Western creators."

So these are Chinese focused models? Chinese actresses and celebrities? Or all of your models will be this way? Or a few models a month here and one or two a month there? I don't understand what you mean.
And can you explain what you mean by V1, V2 and V3 models? Are those based on how much detail? Added clothing and hairstyles? Placed in rooms and scenes with animations? Or is it something else?

Thanks for explaining. When you posted the model that was afdian only it wasn't clear why as subscribers we would not have access and it felt like a bit of an insult in a way. This makes it much clearer. It's such a good model and a shame we won't get it but at least now your logic is clearer. Thank you for explaining and keep up the good work because your models are incredible.
