comic prep! spoilers for whats about to come up
Added 2022-01-08 00:29:31 +0000 UTCNext week I should be able to go thumbnail and sketch out pages, so far I have been doing a lot of preparations for the comic;
Iβve made color reference to help create mood coloring for specific scenes, I tried doing this on the fly in skinnydip, and it didn't always turn out too well and consistent. So I hope this improves on it!
Ive made all character design references, because this might be a shorter comic, it does have a lot more characters, each with their own clothing. previous comics I had the issue with never having reference of character's profiles. so I included those here too.
I've put a lot of work into testing brushes, and aquiring new pattern brushes as you can actually see in the spoiler warning banner.
Thereβs full 3d scenery! to help comic consistency and background art, I make the environments in 3d, so I can easily use those in the sketching process. in the end no 3d will be visible in the pages because I will draw over them.
the writing also has been mostly completed. all this combined will hopefully help create a unique style, and will make the actual comic drawing go a lot faster!
asside from the preperations, you can probably tell already that this story might be some sort of party, which will also be clear from the first page and cover of the comic X) lots of guests visiting Sophie's house! I am happy to finaly have the chance to write some more of Rose and Sophies characters! but I wont say any more than that.
