my review of the new Super Strong Inflatable Hip Pads from ROANYER

i've been a fan of Roanyer's products for a while, i actually use a pair of their regular hip pads in my scenes very often. when they offered to send me the new inflatable version so i could try them out, i was so hype! it's been exciting seeing them pivot to inflatable gear.

out of the box you receive the hip pads themselves as well as a pump, accessories and tubing for the pump, and some basic instructions. i initially opened the box with some friends and the first thing we saw were the ass cheeks, it was kind of a funny moment. the pants are high quality silicone and look very realistic. the material has a slight shine to it but otherwise looks like oiled, healthy flesh. i tend to wear clothes over my silicone props, but do like the option to show a little skin depending on the outfit.

the included hand pump is pretty standard. it comes with 4 needles, one for each of the pants valves, and about 3 feet of pvc tubing. it did the job for me, but you could also use a bike pump or small air compressor if you have one on hand. the bag of accessories includes a Y-splitter and one-way valve for the tubing, as well as some clips and small rubber bands which i wasn't able to figure out a use for. while i think the idea behind the accessories is to help you fill several of the pants chambers at once, you will probably need additional tubing if you want the pants to be easily inflated while wearing. luckily, tubing like this can be found at most pet supply stores for cheap

if you look inside the pants, you'll see the interior has a pinker color, like that of an internal organ. more importantly, you can see the system of valves which allow you to inflate the pants with air. there are 4 inflatable chambers in total, 2 for the hips and 2 for the butt. each valve is covered by a circle of silicone, attached by medical velcro. peeling this pad off allows you to access the valves, which are like the ones on a basketball and can be inflated using a needle. to inflate each chamber, you simply attach a needle to the tubing and insert it fully into the valve. while you can use the included y-splitter to inflate each chamber evenly, for my first test run i did them one by one. i'll add a video of me blowing up one of the hips here, it only takes a minute or so, and even at this size they still felt soft to the touch and fun to squish. with each chamber inflated the pants look pretty interesting. while the boundaries between each chamber is noticeable here, the overall shape smooths out once you get them on and put on some clothing.

now, the unfortunate truth about silicone shapewear is that it fucking sucks to put on. you have to cover yourself in baby powder and its always a tight fit. these hip pads are no different, and in some ways theyre worse 😭 it took me two attempts to actually squeeze into them, and even then only after significant effort. the difficulty is due to the inflated portions of the pants making for an even tighter fit and pressing into you as you try to pull them on. while it may be easier to inflate them after you put them on, i couldn't figure out an easy way to do this. part of me wishes the valves were on the outside for easier access. its also worth noting that i'm kind of a Fat Bitch (34 waist, 42 hip.) Roanyer's products come in one size, and i suspect it's oriented more towards twinky crossdressers. while i was able to get these on in the end, a plus-size option is something i'd like to see in the future.

once i did get them on tho i kind of fell in love with them 😍 like i said previously, the shape smooths out when stretched tight, the inflated portions flex against your skin and round out into a lovely silhouette. theyre decently bigger than the uninflated version and soo sexy. the addition of form-fitting clothing, such as a faux latex skirt or stretchy leggings, is how you get the most out of these. the right outfit will really accentuate the shape of the silicone and smooth out the edges. aside from kink, i could see these being great for cosplay and costuming.

all in all i'm very impressed with this prop, and excited to use it in future scenes. it's worth it for the shape alone imo. while the inflatable aspect comes with a few quirks, it will be fun to tinker with and incorporate with the rest of my kit. with this release, Roanyer continues to innovate within the inflatable sex toy niche. to be frank there's no other company currently offering gear like this, and i truly believe this flesh suit has a place in the collection of any real inflation freak. 🖤
