Was this supposed to be a reply to my comment? Firstly, you're making some assumptions, I don't even know who those first two characters are. But you do make a good point. I may have gotten a little overzealous in calling this post out. What this post and others like it really need are a disclaimer that the characters involved are depicted as adults. I'll concede to you on that end.

It’s NOT about there age as much as Americans make it seem. You want the truth, it’s about there design and body. It’s art and the artist could’ve of literally of said “Ryuko is 18” and nobody bats an eye. But when it’s canon that’s she’s 16 it’s a problem. No it’s fake, the age does not matter if the character doesn’t look like a literal child
