This one is going to mostly be words as the final images of the characters probably won't exist until the exact moment they show up because that's how I roll. Since it's apparently Cat month, these are Cat's Parents. Her mom and Dad have been mentioned but I don't remember if Marcus has come up in the comic. He's her stepdad and the father of Ethan. He's so very Scottish. He works seasonally on Oil rigs. That's probably why he's still married to her mom because they don't have enough time to get on each other's nerves. Quinn and Phillip were teenaged lovers who ended up with Cat when they were 18. They married but realized they didn't really get along enough to make it worth sticking to. They divorced early but had no ill will towards each other. Quinn married Marcus several years later giving Cat an instant older brother. Cat got along well with Phillip and Marcus, probably because they both spent a lot of time travelling and tended to play devil's advocate with her mother. Cat's father, as mentioned, was an archeologist. Cat's mother is an elementary school teacher who specializes in teaching the kids of her tribe about their culture and reclaiming their mostly lost language. She often put Cat under pressure to follow her lead which is probably what led her to push back harder. Phillip treated it all like a phase and even bought her gifts to encourag eher creatively (the choker is one.) Her mom's dedication, her father's death (when she was 16), and an abortion led her to failing a grade which led to more fighting. So she moved in with her step brother, using her immediate inheritance from her father to help pay her way. She gets the rest in a trust when she turns 21. At this point she holds onto being "goth" in the memory of her father as much as she does because she actually likes it. (Phillip is most definitely not Fry. I swear.)
