Witching Hour

Happy Halloween y'all! We're celebrating a little early since this year since I actually got The Stupid Project finished, so you folks can actually get it it a week or two early this time around!

Midnight on halloween is a time when many less common magicks are at their strongest, it's a time for deeper desires when our spookier selves, perhaps our truer selves get their due... Transformation, ritual and horny costume! everyone gets what they want.

This complete cut of Witching Hour clocks in at just over seven and a half minutes long, with something like 18-20+ positions and over 4600 frames of animation - that's 215GB of raw renders over the history of the project! The story of this project has always been a case of wild ambition and tight timelines, but when all's said and done I think it speaks for itself! Check it out in 1080p, and in 4K! Although a note about the 4K version - only parts of the animation are actually rendered in 4K. I've upscaled the 1080p sections to match, but you may find the quality is a bit all over the place at times.

Hope y'all enjoy!

This was soooo worth the wait!!!

Thank you so much! I really put a lot of myself into this one and near the end it was a fair bit stressful, so I really appreciate your enjoyment of it :D It's been a real learning journey, as ever, and I'm looking forward to the next big project being even better! Of course, I'm celebrating in my own way ;) an "extended" cut is actually quite a good idea, and wouldn't be too difficult at all to produce. Each of the individual loops can be extended out pretty much arbitrarily, so a version where you can scrub through and spend more time with your favourite moments is very possible. In a lot of ways, the main limiting factor there is actually sound, funnily enough!

Wow, wild Ambition is right! But am also glad you took your time, the effort over these two years really shows. What I need to praise the most is how malleable the characters are, how you can really feel the volumes being affected, stretches and bounced by the touch, motion and gravity. Absolutely excellent. The creative poses and angles are also a gift for any artist looking for a source to freshen and shake things up. Not to mention a story and lead up like this adds so much to the setting. I always go for a drink to celebrate a big finished project, am hoping you'll treat yourself to something as well, well earned. Could see this piece eventually getting a director's cut, where each pose gets twice as long to loop and breathe, though I also get what you were going for with the high change of pace. Of course I understand the tremendous rendering that would take. Regardless it's clear to see you've acquired a ton of skills from this, and it's been amazing to see it flourish and develop fully. Respect.
