Sidequest Difficulty

Figured it'd be good to hear which one you prefer before designing more, to know what to focus on in the future.
When it comes to optional sidequest and minor bosses that don't keep you from progressing the game(or seeing more content), would you rather they were:

I guess that's fair too. And to some extent these scenes will also come to play. Just wanted to know the general preferance as long as I CAN tweak the difficulty and rewards I guess. :v

I personally think a combination would be ideal. Some easy, some hard... The hard fights are always rewarding when you manage to win them and get some good rewards, but I also like the idea of easier side quest that are battles you SHOULD win, and when you lose they are incredibly humiliating because they carry that "Wow, how the hell did you not win?" feeling, lol. Makes for a really cool scene afterwards.

We're talking ,,perfectly fine to beat with current-update gear, but hard if you don't use a proper approach". Uh, example. People apparently had difficulty with the plant monsters in Adventure Call, simply cause they wouldn't cure the poison or use area attacks. (And you could even do the former before the battle with a potion.) That kinda thing, not an OP enemy, but specific attack patterns and whatnot that need some thinking. Tbh I'll still most likely do both, at least for update 1, so that you can later decide which ones were more fun to fight against. But it'll affect how many of them are there.

How difficult are we talking? Would those sidequest be perfectly fine to beat with high-end gear?
