TL;DR - this script/audio was a commission; I went HAM on the sfx and included 2 more voice cameos; clearly I could talk a lot about this audio, but I tried to spare you a written Dayz Babble hehe

This early access is a big one! It was a commission from a friend in the community and turned into a bit of a passion project too c:

I got halfway into writing a dissertation on producing this audio, and decided I'll just give you the highlights, so you can get to the good stuff!

Fun facts -

• Over 100 sfx
• Voices - british (proper), A.I., space force cadet
• Custom sound scape!
• --> all sounds you hear in the simulator scene are individual sounds that I put together to make a custom space fight simulator sound scape!! I am smiliing so hard typing this!
• (All other sounds were also individual sfx that I combined and applied effects to create what you hear! note: 2 ambience tracks and 2 music tracks (pixabay) were not created by me)
• Cadet character - she has depth and layers, some of which peek out in and are hinted at in this audio. It has a tsundere feel because she's highly competitive and frustrated (at herself and the listener) for being stuck in 2nd in the overall rankings. She's confident in her skills and body, which she uses to throw the listener off his game while she's very hard to maintain control of her reactions during their challenge. Her confidence has kept her achilles heel hidden, but it surfaces at an unexpected time, which forces her to be vulnerable with him, causing a shift in the dynamic. -- Ok, ngl, I'm impressed, my character description slaps!

POV: You're top of your class as a third year cadet training to be an officer in Star Sheild Force, the main military power of the Star Ex Trade Union. Closely ranked 2nd is Dayz, and you're in the middle of running a space flight battle simulator with her that you win. After reminding you of her top hand-to-hand skills, you both go back to your barracks before sparring practice. On the way the practice you accidentally bump into her in the hallway, which ends up making both of you late, having to partner together. She insists on staying beyond practice hours to finish training. Frustration and tension rises, a guantlet is thrown and things heat up ...
