I'm so happy that you both finally got to see this for the first time. I was a bit bummed when you didn't recognize some folks like Aretha Franklin. Fun fact: with all the stunts with the cars this movie was almost as expensive to make as The Empire Strikes Back which also came out in 1980. The budget for The Blues Brothers was $27.5 million & the budget for The Empire Strikes Back was $30.5 million.
