Psylocke Vol 2 Ch 15: The Next Day In Brobdingnag, It Time To Train!
Added 2024-12-30 02:40:04 +0000 UTCThe morning light filtered through the enormous windows, casting long, golden streaks across the room. Tristan stood on the vast expanse of the bed, buttoning the tiny shirt he had just managed to wriggle into. His hands shook slightly, both from lingering nerves and the residual excitement that clung to him from the night before. He glanced over his shoulder and immediately froze.
Grace stood with her back to him, pulling a loose sweater over her toned frame. Her long hair cascaded down her back, the sunlight dancing across its dark strands. The curve of her hips, the way her movements were both effortless and deliberate-it was mesmerizing.

"Damn," Tristan muttered under his breath, his cheeks burning. "She's beautiful!"
He shook his head, forcing himself to focus on finishing the buttons on his shirt. You already saw her naked, genius. Hell, you did more than that. Get it together. But no matter how hard he tried, the pounding in his chest wouldn't stop.
Grace, now fully dressed, turned around slowly, a playful smile lighting up her face. She dropped to her knees on the bed, the movement making the mattress sink slightly. Her massive form loomed over Tristan, but the way her soft brown eyes looked at him made him feel more safe than small.
"Hey, sexy," Grace said, her voice warm and teasing as she extended her hand toward him, palm up.
Tristan's breath hitched. Blushing furiously, he stepped forward and climbed aboard her waiting hand, gripping her thumb for balance. Her skin was warm beneath his touch, and he could feel the subtle pulse of her heartbeat in her palm.

"Ready to go?" Grace asked, tilting her head slightly as she studied him.
Tristan let out a nervous chuckle. "As ready as l'll ever be."
Grace smiled and lifted him closer to her face. Her lips pressed gently against his tiny form, a soft and lingering kiss that left him both comforted and flustered. "You're going to be okay," she murmured, her voice low and reassuring. "I'll be with you the whole time."
With that, Grace stood, cradling Tristan securely in her hands. Each of her steps sent faint tremors through the floor as she walked toward the door. It took only a few minutes, but to Tristan, it felt like they crossed a continent. Finally, they reached the towering wall that held the massive door for the Brobs.
Beside the colossal Brob door was a much smaller, Gulliverian-sized door. Grace pushed it open with her free hand and stepped outside, where the cool morning air greeted them. Waiting against the wall was Darcy, her towering Brob form casting a long shadow that seemed to stretch forever.
Darcy straightened when she noticed them, her dark curls bouncing as she moved. Her sharp brown eyes softened slightly as she looked down, her lips curving into a faint smile. She crouched carefully, her massive frame folding gracefully as she reached toward Grace.
"Morning, you two," Darcy said, her voice rumbling like distant thunder. She glanced at Grace first, then focused on Tristan, squinting slightly as if trying to make out his tiny form.

Tristan, still not entirely used to the sheer scale of a Brob, felt his stomach flip. Darcy was enormous, her presence utterly overwhelming, but there was a calmness in her demeanor that reassured him. Swallowing his nerves, he smiled up at her, even though he knew she probably couldn't see it.
"Good morning," he said, his voice small but steady.
Darcy chuckled softly. "Cute," she said, her massive fingers wrapping gently around Grace. She lifted Grace and Tristan with practiced ease, rising to her full, dizzying height.
The world blurred slightly as Darcy's long strides carried them into the living room, a cavernous space filled with Brobs. Tristan's stomach churned slightly from the motion, but he forced himself to focus.
As they entered, the air seemed to hum with energy. The Brobs gathered around were titanic figures, their casual movements sending subtle tremors through the ground. Each one radiated power, their presence commanding the room in a way that made Tristan's heart race.
Darcy set Grace down gently on one of the smaller Gulliverian-sized platforms that allowed her to stand at eye level with most Brobs when necessary.
Grace carefully lifted Tristan from her hand and placed him on her shoulder. He clung to a strand of her hair, his tiny fingers gripping the silky locks like a lifeline.
"Morning, everyone," Grace said with a polite smile, her voice carrying just enough authority to demand respect.
Tristan scanned the room, his eyes widening as he took in the sight of so many Brobs at once. They were like living gods, their sheer size and power making it clear how easily they could destroy an entire Lilliputian city without even noticing. Despite their calm expressions and friendly chatter, their presence was an undeniable reminder of the fragility of his world.
His gaze flicked to one of the Brobs in particular—a tall woman with striking features and a confident air. Sitting on her shoulder was a familiar figure: Breonia. The Lilliputian woman looked completely at ease, chatting animatedly with the Brob she was perched on, whose name Tristan vaguely remembered as Naomi.
She really is at home here, Tristan thought, a pang of jealousy mixed with admiration coursing through him. Breonia didn't seem intimidated by the Brobs at all. If anything, she looked like she belonged.
"All right, time for training!" Darcy's voice boomed, snapping Tristan out of his thoughts.
Tristan tightened his grip on Grace's hair, his nerves kicking into overdrive. "Oh boy," he muttered under his breath, bracing himself for whatever was about to come next.
Grace turned her head slightly, her calm gaze settling on him. "Don't worry," she whispered. "I've got you."

Her reassurance helped, but only a little. As the room of titans began to shift and prepare, Tristan couldn't help but feel like a mouse in a den of lions. Whatever this training entailed, he knew one thing for certain-it was going to be an experience he'd never forget.
