The Fox & The Tiny

Hello everyone!

I've arrived in England safely. I apologise that this post is late and that it was supposed to be up almost a week ago, but things have been a little on the crazy side here. The day of the flight was something like a full 36 hours without sleep all in all with the layover and rail travel and immediate pressing concerns to deal with, and I haven't really had any time to recover until the past day or two with how much there has been to do around the old family home.

When it comes to this sort of stuff I always overestimate my own capabilities when it comes to dealing with it. For the first few days that I was here I was so focused on cleaning everything up that I lost track of time. It's hard to sit down and get yourself in the mood to write and set your computer up when you're surrounded by so much clutter.

Anyway, thanks to a lot of hard (and well-paced) work I've cleaned the place up enough now where I'm comfortable enough to work. In future I will do my best to better estimate my own abilities when it comes to this stuff, and I apologise about the delay. As for the situation over here, I'll be posting a more detailed (and optional) update as part of the beginning of the month post.

But I do come with something nice! It's that Renamon story! Originally this was something on the meaner side, but over the past couple of days I've completely rewritten it and turned it into something nice. Given how rough things have been I just kinda fancied writing something on the sweeter side, something where the macro and the micro mostly get along. If you're a fan of my more 'edgy' stuff then don't worry, there's plenty of that on the way, but this one is mostly gentle sizeplay. Certain portions of it are unwilling, but it all works out at the end. It's a bit of a weird romance, but the best ones usually are, right?

It's also a whopping ten thousand words! It's safe to say that I've gotten comfortable over here at least. After cleaning up a lot of the house my writing setup is actually more comfortable than it is at home, which is really nice for my aching back!

Anyways...

A micro relocation program means that a struggling Renamon ends up with a new flatmate. Things don't go so well at first, but Marcus - the tiny in question - soon realises that he enjoys the Renamon's company more than he realizes.

Besides writing, I've also been laying out a feasible plan for what I can accomplish over here in the next month. This does include finishing up v1.3, but I'm still not exactly sure on when I'll be releasing it. It will definitely be in May, it's just a question of when in May. Now that I'm all stabilized here, though, I'll be figuring out the details and letting everyone know what day it'll be releasing in the beginning of the month post for May, which is just around the corner and will be popping up right at the beginning of the month as usual!

Thank you to everyone for your continued patience and support through this trying time. Things are definitely rough right now, but knowing that I have my lovely community of sizey people to write for has kept me going during a rough patch. Getting the computer properly set up and writing over the past couple of days has been absolutely lovely, and much to my relief, my urge to write is only enhanced by the stressors rather than inhibited. Being able to sink myself into this has been a lovely escape.
