Jumping January

Hello everyone!

Sorry that the beginning of the month post is coming a little late today! I wanted to get it up early, but I happened to wake up with a migraine, which kept me in bed for most of the day. Despite the fact that I don't drink or go to New Year's parties or anything like that, it seemed that I was destined to wake up with what felt like the world's worst hangover anyway.

But oh well! Shit happens, right?

Today is the first day of January, or, the first day of 2025! Migraine or no migraine, I'm excited to get the year going. And what are we gonna get the year going with? At least in terms of, y'know, my content? Well, that's what this post is all about! So let's talk about that a little...

Stories

I will be posting three whole stories this month! One of them will be the Salazzle story that was polled a while back while the other two will be commissions.

I don't really want to talk about their contents too much - 'cause it kinda spoils the surprise, y'know - but what I will say is that they're a nice mixture of familiar (as in stuff I've wrote before) and unfamiliar (as in stuff I haven't really wrote before) and I think that they're pretty exciting.

A Tiny Furry In A Huge World

Yes yes, it's time to go back to this. For real, actually, definitely this time.

The thing that I will be finishing this month is Aimee Mode. Out of everything in v1.3 it's the thing that needs the most work - and is the most intimidating to work on - so my focus is almost entirely going to be on completing that. Overall there are like... seven or eight scenes that need to be wrote for it, a whole bunch of room descriptions, some dialogue between characters, and then oh geez there's all of the multiple endings and the multiple endings for the multiple endings and...

... that's before I've even gotten into the programming side of things. So, yeah! Lots of work to be done, but I think I can manage it.

The good news though is that by focusing on it means that I can, well, focus on it and get it all done, which should mean that next month I can get the rest of the scenes done in the gym, and then, well... aside from some bonus scenes as polled on here - yes they're still coming, don't worry - the whole update will be finished, meaning that around March I can start working on...

... you'll see, you'll see!

Anyway, that's what's happening with A Tiny Furry In A Huge World this month. I'll be posting the latest preview build around the end of the month.

Poll Time

There will be a poll this month! The poll is gonna be a people's choice thing on what story you'd like me to write, or, more appropriately, what character you'd like me to write a story for. The characters will be a mixture of my OCs (Kyobi, peeps from A Tiny Furry, etc) and a couple of 'canon characters' that I find interesting.

In a month or two I'll get back to doing the usual what scene would you like to see in game polls but I'm really behind on those as is, so I'm keeping it chill by leaving it as just a story rather than adding yet another ending to a long, long list.

Health

Besides the migraine (which has mostly fucked off now) I'm feeling pretty well! I'm extra motivated to work as hard as I can to make the start of 2025 - and the rest of the year - as impactful as possible... and if one of my migraines hasn't knocked my confidence in that, then I think I'm doing pretty well on the mental health and motivation front!

I usually like to ramble on a bit more in these, but it's late and I had a migraine and I'm tired and it's almost not the first of the month here, and I wanna get these out on the first of the month, so...
