The Brob Girl Ch 23: Day At The Water Park Pt 2

(Michael)

I sat in Abbie's palm, trying to get comfortable despite the constant motion. Everything around me blurred together as she moved, the sheer speed at which we were traveling was mind-blowing.

I tried not to focus on her massive chest bouncing nearby, but it was impossible to ignore. The movement generated strong gusts of wind that whistled in my ears and messed up my hair.

"Damn," I muttered, rubbing my ears, trying to block out the noise.

"Hmm? You okay?" Abbie's voice echoed from above, gentle but still a bit overwhelming at this size.

"Uh, yeah... it's just overwhelming," I replied, shifting my gaze away from her colossal form.

"Do you need me to slow down? I can if you want," she offered.

Suddenly, her hand rose closer to her face, and soon I found myself staring into her enormous brown eyes. She held me just above her nose and mouth, which, I realized, was her way of being considerate—keeping me away from her breath. She really was thoughtful.

"Yes, please," I said, watching as those massive fingers positioned themselves behind me like protective barriers.

Her eyes squinted slightly in what I assumed was a smile. "No problem."

She lowered me back down by her chest, this time moving much slower. The surroundings no longer blurred past me; instead, I could actually take in the details.

"Better?" she asked.

"A lot better," I replied, smiling up at her.

(Abbie)

As I settled into the slower pace, I couldn't help but think about how brave Michael was. If our roles were reversed and I was the one so small in a world this big, I wasn't sure I'd be able to handle it as well as he was. This had to be hard on him, yet he was still doing his best to enjoy the day. I hoped he was at least having a good time.

With the contact lenses, I could see him clearly—this tiny speck of a man who had somehow become so important to me. He seemed more at ease now that I had slowed down, and that made me feel a little better. I saw him glance at my chest earlier, and honestly, I felt a bit embarrassed, but I didn't want to bring it up. He was trying to be polite, after all, and I didn't want to make him uncomfortable, and I guess that was a compliment, he at least saw me as attractive.

"Ok calm your heart beat, Abbie." I continued to say in my head, hoping that I wouldn't send my passenger flying because of my movements.

Before long, we reached the small pool that Monica had mentioned. It was the size of a jacuzzi to me, but to Michael, it was probably as big as a lake. Monica was already inside, her usual playful smile on her face.

"What took you guys so long?" she teased.

"Well, Michael, we're here," I said, looking down at him in my palm. I wondered if he could tell how much I admired him for being so brave. I carefully lowered my hand to let him off, making sure to keep everything as steady as possible.

I wanted this moment to be special for him, for both of us.

I struggled not to giggle as I saw the little guy’s face. He was clearly shocked, but I couldn’t quite tell if it was because of Monica or the water. A part of me hoped it was the latter—I wanted him to be excited about this, to enjoy it.

“Well, shall we get in?” I asked, trying to keep my voice light, offering him a reassuring smile.

“Uh… yea,” he replied, his voice barely above a whisper.

His tone made me pause. “Michael, are you okay?” I asked, hoping that his hesitation was just shyness or surprise. “If this is too much, we can go home.”

I waited anxiously for his response, hoping that all of this wasn’t going to turn sour. I wanted this to be fun for him, not overwhelming.

“No…” I heard his voice come through my earpiece, which felt like a relief.

“I’m fine, but how am I going to be safe from being swept away by the waves?” he asked, his voice tinged with concern.

Before I could respond, Monica, ever the problem-solver, stood up from the water and walked towards us. “No worries,” she said with a smile that could light up a room. “We bought this from the stands.”

She held out a tiny yellow object, so small it was almost like an ant to my eyes. I leaned in closer to get a better look, and sure enough, it became a little more clear.

“Is that…?” I asked, squinting to make out the details.

“Yep, a cute little life raft for our little friend,” Monica confirmed with a playful wink. She then brought her face closer to my hand, her gaze shifting to Michael. “So what do you say, Michael? Do you think you’re willing to give us a chance?” she asked, her voice soft and encouraging.

We both waited in anticipation, the air thick with the tension of his decision. But surprisingly, we didn’t have to wait long.

“Sure…” Michael finally said, a hint of a smile in his voice. “Why not?”

Monica and I exchanged relieved glances, both of us grinning ear to ear. I carefully lowered Michael into the raft, making sure he was secure before we started to step into the water. The moment felt perfect, and I hoped that, just maybe, he was beginning to enjoy it too.
