because he is undead im trying to giving an otherworldly and ethereal feel. i need to do more test drawings to get the right effect down though

to be fair... i have been reading Berserk since i was 11 (a time when here in italy "it's a comic so it must be for kids"™ due to US regulations and some people at the top not understanding how that applied to USA alone. So, i have seen Kentaro Miura grow as an author from the ridiculous and gratuitous stuff he did when he was 24 and wanted to show his cool edgy character to what he had become in his later years. He was a master of storytelling not by birth but by learning, and he honed those skills by never turning his back to the past and always moving forwards.
