I recently visited a fertility festival, commonly known as a dick festival, held annually on March 15 in a neighboring prefecture.
As the name suggests, it is a festival to pray for a good harvest through phallic worship, and several similar festivals can be found in Japan.
This was the first time in three years that the festival was held, and many tourists from outside of Japan could be seen. It may be that the festival is more well-known outside Japan than in Japan.
It is a sacred body in the shape of a penis.
