well again i have been trying to get comics done. i have all the pages of this one laid out but my biggest problem is i second guess myself and make excuses why i should not be doing it....and they are DUMB ones. like "it will take too long and i cannot get a 30 page book done per week"...which sounds even more ludicrous now that i wrote it down.

another mental impedance i have put on myself is "color and environmental consistency"

this is an issue i had put on myself with the use of my 3d figure (not so much now) where the environment and color had to be 100% consistent throughout the whole narrative. meaning (for me at least) everything had to be rendered and laid out before hand and be precise. however if a lay out did not read well i would have to redo everything and the prospect of having to re render again and again helped convince me to keep procrastinating.

this is one of the reasons why i am open to critiques from you all here when you see something wrong (and even more so the easier it is to draw without 3d figure) the easier it is to make mistakes and fix them the easier it is to finally tell you all the fun stories i have and not just the porn ones ;)

ok i am done rambling for now

thank you for all these resources you sent to me. i feel that i have not explained myself very well (again) in were my problem is. after reading your response and thinking about it i can simplify my problem as being inflexible with the tool look at some of my older works bear of a feast, bound trust, spider bites etc and what comes to mind is "stiff" and "muted" personally i feel "blue mane" is the turning point for me because even though it looks like only a subtle change on the surface, the fact that i was able to change the work flow so drastically is important. i think in the next few weeks we will see if i really have turned a corner and keep on with comic pages

Also when layouts don't read well... you can always hide stuff from the camera...and/or cur away pieces of the background that get in the way or don't read well. I suggest you get in contact with some of the people that work well with 3d environments. There's David C. Simon http://davidcsimon.com/ that has a long running webcomic another is J. E. Draft with his "challenges of zona" http://barbarianprincess.com/ and also that woman that goes by the username "Jakkal" who draws "Realms of Kaerwynn" and "Black Tapestries", https://kaerwyn.blacktapestries.com/ these artists have a decent output for their comics. David and Jed do everything in 3d. Jakkal usually just does the environment in 3d and she's pretty accurate about it, then draws the characters on the environment by hand. They are all three here on Patreon if you want to talk to them. https://www.patreon.com/crimsondark https://www.patreon.com/Jakkal https://www.patreon.com/JEDraft i hope this helps 😉🤗

🤔👍 i can understand your concerns, and yes now i understand why your comics until now either had completely easy backgrounds or were in spaces where you did not have to work hard to do a decent shot.
