;) no worries i plan to add more contrast between the highlights and shadows so it is less "blobby" also due to the compression of web safe jpeg some data will be lost. i have this problem a LOT with shesheik and her red color. the jpeg always loses sharpness and contrast

Nice. But my monitor has a decent contrast ration and the cape is a black blob. I suspect it's worse on most other monitors. Since you've got a very bright light from the right of the image (left of Mar) may i suggest you put some highlights on the cape? I understand that a black cape is part of many powerful characters, but most of the times, putting a dark grey base and keeping black just for the recesses and deep shadows, while going up to a 128 grey where the light shines, should help. Again, my feedback, does not really need to be folloed, and i hope somebody else gives his impression 😉
