As that bar was closing down, she asked if I wanted to go to “After Hours” in the city. I was very much down, because she was pretty and I was adderalled up. The next thing I knew I was at a gay bar with her, doing blow in the ladies room. I had absolutely no idea, an hour and a half in, that I was at a gay bar and that the gorgeous women I was dancing and fooling around with were drag queens. I drove the girl I came with, as well as a guy and a queen, to a warehouse party after, at about 5:30am, but I refused to go in myself. Detroit has a trafficking problem, and I had a gut feeling I was going to end up very similar to what I expect is going to happen to homeboy here. Especially because that’s when I was 22, skinny blonde with no muscle mass to speak of. This should be interesting. I’ve thought about that night a lot.
