Something that might help with the codependency thing is if you mention on the start of the podcast before you roll that if you touch a subject they don't want to talk about then you'll be able to cut it. Then you can let go a bit because you know they know they can ask to change subjects. Also, next time you talk to Destiny, he has mentioned he use to manipulate people in the past. I'd really like to see someone ask what that looked like, how he learned it, what was driving him then, how he realized he should stop that, and what changes he's made after the change. Finally, you keep bringing up these great conversations after you cut. Something I think radio people do is they start the conversation before the show, the radio host may even talk more to demonstrate to people how they should answer the questions and see what they relate too. Try starting the conversation before you hit record and see if that gets you into more of a conversational tone.
