05/09/2021 Sneak Peek/ Yarn spinnin

Hey all, Hope you're all doing well and enjoying/enjoyed your Sunday.  I promise I didn't forget about y'all.

Have a few renders of important girls, some that haven't been seen as much and sit a spell While I spin as much of a spoiler free yarn about them as I can.

There's a theme that will be going through his next game, one that will became apparent early on. The theme of loss.

Every character in this novel will have experienced loss in some way, and as we settle into the world we'll see how differently they react to it. 

Vi is an orphan, she's seen loss in a way that many have not, it's shaped her, seeped into her, and when you meet her you'll see what has become of her as a result. 

Serena is a fantastic attorney, but she struggles with feelings she shouldn't have, and the fear of the potential losses she could have from those feelings are something you'll explore.

Elspeth can be described in a single word, Legacy.  Every loss she suffers, every gain she's made is for something greater than her, a legacy. As you stand by her side you'll see who, or what that legacy is for and what she's sacrificed to keep it in tact.

And finally beautiful, bouncy Kana. We're told that when you work hard, try your best that you can achieve anything. But what if all that hard work and effort is your undoing? What if you end up unwittingly becoming the architect of your own loss? That's something that Kana, and you as a player will need to come to grips with.

"STWA, this is bumming me out. I really don't want to be miserable when I play this."  That's a perfectly valid feeling to have, but it leads into the point that's most important to me. While the theme of loss is heavy in this story, it isn't what the story is about.  Despite how it may seem this is a story of hope, a story of love and redemption. This is a story about finding out who you are when the chips are down and what you're willing to give for the people that you love.  When you see Elspeth's eyes twinkle, when you see Kana quirk her lip up in the corner, when Vi peers lovingly from behind her hair I hope remember that through all the pain, there is love, there is fun and there is always a chance, even when sometimes it feels like it's all gone to hell. You treat the girls right and I promise they'll do they same for you.
