STWA Announcement- The Unbroken

Here's the official announcement as well as a few character introductions for the next game in the STWA universe. Been working hard behind the scenes to get things ready and the first release will be expected shortly after The Author wraps up in January. Over the next month or so Patrons will engage in polls to help me finalize the design of two more of our characters.  Not all our characters will be revealed before launch, have to keep a few secrets don't I?  Hopefully what does come out will be enough to whet your appetite.  Now without further ado... more pictures and talking!

STWA: The Unbroken

This was not the life he envisioned. From the moment he signed the enlistment papers Valentine knew he wanted to be an Operator with 1st SFOD-D, the best soldier he could possibly be.  That dream is gone now, it died four years ago on an Op that almost cost him everything... 

His new life is good though, living in London with his former comrade in arms and his plucky protégé, he's found joy and purpose in competitive fighting.  His drive to be the best still intact Valentine has set his sights on being the first 3 weight champion in the United Kingdom Fight Association. It may not be what he envisioned, but the life of a professional athlete, filled with money, cars and women is hardly something he can complain about. 

However when an unexpected tragedy leaves him the only connection a young woman has to the world, Valentine finds his life once again turned upside down. Can he manage his fighting career, his friendships, his mentorships and his own trauma while trying to protect somebody who has nobody else? Or will Valentine, the strongest of all his friends, finally break?  Your choices will decide.

Characters:

[MC] Valentine: 

The protagonist of our story, former Army Ranger and Special Forces.  Currently he's focused on winning his UKFA championships as well as coaching his young protégé to hers.  He's built himself a nice life in London and he hardly thinks about the past anymore. Then that damn letter arrives, and the dreams start again, and it's clear that the past is still thinking of him.

Viridiana D:

Her parents dead at 7, her elderly grandparents who took her in dead at 10, Viridiana has seen more loss than most ever will at her young age. Finding solace in her music and other creative endeavors she's worked hard to make every day worth living.  Finally graduating from school she packs her bags and readies herself for her new adult life, and then the phone rings and everything changes.

Amrita Swain:

An Anglo-Indian kickboxing prodigy, at the age of 20 she has a professional combat sports record of 71-2.  With fighting her only avenue to raising herself and her family out of poverty Amrita has moved to London and begun training under Valentine and McNab to be the best female martial artist in the world.  Despite her rather violent hobby she's a vivacious and girly young woman, and she's beginning to think that she wants Valentine to notice just how teachable she can be...

Alistair McNab:

A former member of the 22nd Special Air Service Regiment he served in many joint operations with Valentine, leading to a strong if somewhat contentious bond.  The former Welterweight champion of the UKFA who was forced to relinquish the belt due to injury, he's returned at the Middleweight division to try and win a second championship. While content with the life he's living he's growing more concerned with Valentine and some of the choices he's made, and when shit hits the fan he has to decide if he'll be there to pull his friend out of the fire once more, or if it's time to cut his losses and run. (No NTR, cause I know somebody will ask.)
