Catra and Adora were raised to be bad, but without her partner in crime, Adora leaned towards good. She never wanted to lose Catra in the process, but it happened regardless. Ten years later they exploded into each other's lives once more and their spark reignited like there had never been a distance between them.

CW: Sad Smut at the end of the chapter.

--

“Hey Beautiful. What’s your name?” a husky voice came from behind Catra and she turned. Despite their attempt at a deeper voice, this woman was easily the most beautiful person she had ever seen. Her blonde hair was cropped short like a mens cut and she was dressed in a sinfully tight pair of jeans. Her red flannel shirt was left unbuttoned to show off her tantalising cleavage. Catra smirked at the cocky smile on the woman’s face and leaned back on the bar to leer at the blonde.

“Catra,” She purred.

“That’s a stupid name,” The woman said and Catra’s ears flicked back in irritation at the rude comment.

“Loser,” Catra said, turning back to the bar and heard the blonde scoff from behind her.

“What!? I didn’t lose,” Adora objected and Catra glared at her over her shoulder.

“You broke character first!” Catra defended, downing her drink to turn back to her partner in crime.

This game was one they played often and it was a fun way to flirt like they didn’t know each other but it's actually meant to be a contingency plan. If a deal went sour and they needed to get out, it was easy enough to find each other and act like strangers to keep up appearances. But mostly the two young adult best friends used it as a game to play before they had sex.

“No, I didn’t! I was going to say, I bet some idiot gave that to you,” Adora said grinning at her ridiculous pickup line. Adora was the idiot who gave Catra her name and Adora knew that. She was just choosing to be difficult.

“Yeah, she is pretty stupid, but she’s really good with her hands…what are you offering?” Catra said. If the game was still on she was not going to lose by breaking character first, even if Adora was insisting on being ridiculous with her pickup line.

“I bet I could blow your mind,” Adora said, stepping into Catra’s personal space. Catra leaned back into the bar to keep some distance between them just to tease the blonde.

“Oh? And how do you plan on doing that, hotshot?” Catra teased, wondering where Adora was going with this new line of flirtation. Adora leaned closer than Catra would allow anyone else and whispered directly into her sensitive ear. Her voice dipped low so only she could hear.

“Let me show you,” Adora said and Catra felt her fur fluff up with the possibilities. Catra's only demand for this game was that Adora had to pick her up and rail her in a rented room. Catra was very eager to get the night underway already.

“Mmhm, fine, impress me,” Catra purred and Adora put her arm around her waist to pull her off the stool and against her body. Catra bit her lip to hold back the sound she wanted to make every time Adora showed off her strength and buried her face against Adora’s shoulder to hide momentarily. Adora waited for her to recover before she led Catra towards the room they had rented with their saved coin. It had been months of saving so they could afford such a luxury. It wasn’t any special occasion but it just so happened to be around the time of the anniversary of when they first met. The months of waiting were torture but certainly didn’t stop their nightly activities packed together in Catra’s tiny bunk. But she was ready to finally get the satisfaction she was waiting for. Catra was purring as she was led inside the room.

The bed was small but soft with two reasonably fluffy pillows. The room was sparse, but it had a desk and a set of draws. They had already made a pile out of their saddlebags and protective outer clothing in the corner when they had first inspected the room and changed into nicer outfits.

Catra turned to Adora as the blonde closed and locked the door behind them. Without a word Catra could see Adora was overthinking already.

“Ok, timeout,” Catra said, putting her hands on Adora’s bound chest and looking up into her anxious blue eyes. “Are you ok?” She asked softly. Adora put her hand over Catra’s as she let out a soft sigh.

“I’m just worried… I don’t want to hurt you…” Adora said  in a small voice.

Adora had always been so gentle with Catra, but sometimes Catra wanted her to be firmer with her, even a little rough. They had talked about Adora getting a little rougher with Catra and she was excited to find out what that meant from her gentle giant of a lover. But Adora still needed reassurance and Catra was happy to provide it.

“Do you trust me?” Catra asked softly and Adora nodded immediately. Catra smiled as she moved her free hand to cup Adora’s cheek, and the blonde leaned into the touch. “Then trust me to tell you if I need to stop. It's just a game baby” Catra said softly and Adora nodded.

Adora took a deep breath as she closed her eyes and when she opened them again it was like she was a different person. She stood straighter rolling her shoulders back before she levelled Catra with a look that immediately ruined her panties.

Adora's hands were firm and sure on Catra's body like they were made for this and Catra trembled with excitement.

"Are you going to be a good girl for me?" Adora whispered as she lowered her lips to skim along her neck before she nipped at her skin.

"Make me," Catra challenged.

[…]

Catra expected a great many things. She expected nightmares, she expected regret and she expected sadness. What she hadn’t expected from sleep was to awake with her body burning with desire. She could still feel the firm hands of her long lost lover on her body and it made her ache with want. But it wasn’t just about desire, she missed being held so carefully like she was a delicate gift to be cherished.

Catra blinked her eyes in the light of the daymoon. She felt reality settle around her like a thick suffocating fog and she choked it down like she always did. Her greatest regret and her greatest gift were mixed up in the same unattainable woman that she would never see again. Catra couldn’t do anything now but race towards her own end with a hope that she might see her in another life.

It was a cruel joke. She was heading into the highland country which meant heading south. South was a place she never thought she would go again. She would be forced to face her memories and the pain they brought head on. She had spent the last seven years trying to outrun those memories or carve her pain into any soul who stood in her way.

She rubbed her face to blink the dream from her eyes, the ghosts of Adora burned into her skin as she adjusted to the light of reality. She couldn’t wallow, she had a job to do.

Catra reentered the south the same way she left, riding a great steel horse. Catra’s anger was like a cannon overfilled with gunpowder and ready to explode. The years and distance had done little to cool her temper, but her unconventional employment had provided her with an outlet for that rage. It was unfortunate for anyone who ever experienced it since they seldom survived.

She never wanted to return to this place after news reached her of Adora’s death. Nothing mattered to her in the South after her best friend was gone. It weighed heavy on her heart, knowing all the things they had left unsaid and they were fools to think they had time.

Now, all Catra wanted was freedom. Freedom from the Horde, from her pain and from her memories. She wanted to ride like she was chasing something important, instead of running from the pain in her chest.

Scorpia joined Catra on her return to the South despite her insistence that she needn't bother. Catra did not plan to stay long. She would weed out the local rebels and be on the next train out of here with a new assignment under her belt.

Scorpia was like that though. Desperate to devote herself to a good cause or a good woman. Catra liked to remind her that she was neither. Her claws had caused too much bloodshed to be used for love anymore.

Scorpia deserved better than that, besides, Catra was foolishly still in love with Adora. Catra was still plagued with nightmares of a much sweeter life she couldn’t forget. She wished she could experience those blue eyes and strong hands just one more time so she could feel safe for even a moment. But Catra’s days just continued to run together until it was all just one long life of pain.

Catra had nothing but bad memories coming into Horde Town. Memories of running around these dusty roads as a child and thinking that was freedom. She remembered hiding from their handlers and playing pranks on the older cadets. She remembered excited giggles and snorted laughter. But they were all just memories now. Memories she couldn’t seem to hide away while walking through their streets.

The barracks was part of the underground section of Horde Town, it was an attempt to hide their numbers in case someone tried to overpower them. Catra had very little love for the cold dark rooms hidden from the light.

She headed towards Shadow Weavers office, knowing her first stop was to check in with her new commander. They had a problem and her time in the West made her very well known as someone who could handle problems.

“Force Captain Catra, welcome home” Shadow Weaver said with something that almost sounded like pride in her voice. She wore a porcelain mask to hide her face. She had once been someone of note apparently and after becoming a turncoat she continued to hide her identity even after all these years.

“Thank you,” Catra said, even if the words fell on deaf ears. This place was not her home, it never was. She wasn’t happy to be here, especially since working under Weaver only made her feel trapped and restricted. She had been called in to deal with an issue and she would do that as quickly as she could and request a transfer out of this hellhole.

“I have your first assignment,” Weaver said and Catra nodded.

“I understand I am to deal with the rebellion issue in the area,” Catra said, quoting the letter that brought her here and Weaver waved her hand dismissively.

“Yes, yes, but while we were awaiting your arrival, your men made an error. So you must correct it,” Weaver said and Catra bit her tongue to stop herself from talking back. Weaver didn’t care that it wasn’t her fault that they did something wrong before she took command.

“They rustled some cattle from an important supporter and we need them returned. I expect you to apologise to the owner personally,”

“Yes, Shadow Weaver, who do the cattle belong to?” Catra asked, apologising was a lot like lying, easy enough if you didn’t mean what you were saying.

“The Greyskull Estate,” Weaver said and Catra nodded.

“Consider it done,”

[...]

Catra focused with a flick of her ears. Her first job on the list was intel. She knew these lands once but in the last ten years the rebellion had a chance to learn them better. These rebels were a menace to the Horde's preferred five finger discount, stealing cargo and returning it to the people who lost it.

Information was hard to come by about the rebellion gang. She was surprised by the level of loyalty they managed to achieve in the locals. People didn't want to talk, but Catra had her methods.

Catra spent some time simply observing her environment. She watched the people come and go living their daily lives out of each town. She spent time on the crimson planes, exploring her old stomping grounds and ignoring the melancholy that threatened to suffocate her.

There were memories on every grain of sand in this desert and an entire lifetime of moments to miss. She knew it would hurt to return to this place but she never thought it would be so soul shattering.

She missed Adora but she wouldn’t want her now after everything she had done to gain power. She was just angry and broken. Adora was like a light in the darkness of the Horde and all they cared about was what she could give them until that light was snuffed out. She hated her employer for letting Adora die but she had nowhere else to go.

She received a tip that the leader of the rebels was a woman called She-ra by the papers who rode a white horse with a star branding.

Catra laid a simple lure to get the rebels attention, just a little whisper around the right people in town to get it into the gossip mill.

It didn’t take long to get someone sniffing around the herd. Catra hadn’t hidden them too hard, but she made it seem intentional. She could see the barely visible tracks of a skilled crook and smell the way they covered their scent. They were good but Catra was better.

It wasn’t long until Catra’s crew were knocked out and the cattle were taken. Catra could have warned those on lookout but it was their fault that Catra was in this mess, so she felt no remorse for letting them take the dressing down. It was a shame none of them died for their idiocy.

Catra trailed the rebels from a safe distance, hiding much better than the woman leading the gang on her overexcited white horse.

Catra watched just long enough to confirm that the cattle were being returned to their rightful home before she returned to Horde town. She had three days till the party at the Greyskull manor and she had plans to make.

[…]

Catra dismounted and took a moment to scratch the neck of her great black mare like she liked before she carefully tied her reins to a hitching post. Duchess wasn’t stupid, she usually would stay where she was put, but she had an eye for vegetable patches and Catra could see one near the homestead. Best to not upset the owners any further.

Scorpia dismounted from her own steed. She was comically large on her horse but their temperaments matched perfectly. Scorpia was loyal in everything she did and that included horse companions.

Catra appreciated that loyalty since it was often hard won in their business, but Catra had Scorpia’s from day one. Scorpia still wanted to devote herself to Catra in every way she could, but Catra just couldn’t give her that. Memories of blue eyes still haunted Catra night and day, and she was far from ready to move on to a new flame. Even if she’d had plenty of meaningless lovers over the years.

If those lovers all happened to be blonde with blue eyes then that was nobody's business except Catra’s and her broken heart. She needed to be touched and feel connected to someone, even if they weren’t who she wanted.

“Ready to go boss?” Scorpia asked cheerfully and Catra pulled at the bottom of her waist length jacket to straighten it.

“Ready as I’ll ever be,” Catra said and took a breath before she turned towards the homestead. They weren’t late but the party had long started and Catra was ready to get this stupid technicality over with.

The house was large and lavished like any mansion in the south and was well kept with many staff. Catra and Scorpia entered through the main doors before they were led into the large dance hall which was already filling with people.

Catra’s hands twitched, it had been a long time since she was a pickpocket, but the proclivity was still ingrained in her body. Those memories of hefty scores were laced with memories of heated kisses and passionate hands. Catra couldn’t seem to get her old flame out of her mind so when her eyes landed on a tall blonde dressed up all pretty her brain filled in the missing pieces of Adora the woman lacked. It wasn’t the first time Catra had slipped into such delusions to get the connection she craved.

The blonde was easily taller than some of the men at the party and dressed in a delicate dark blue dress. Her hair was done up with jewels and lace with soft curls around her shoulders and neck. She didn’t have any makeup on, or at least it wasn’t caked on because she really didn’t need it.  She looked just like a princess.

Scorpia must have noticed Catra’s attention had been captured and looked where Catra was looking.

“Remember why we’re here, boss,” Scorpia said, watching Catra with a slight frown.

“I remember Scorpia. Mingle, we won’t be here long” Catra said with a smirk and Scorpia sighed before she walked further into the party to do just that.

Catra swiped a drink from a tray and headed towards Adam Grayskull, the poor man who lost his cattle because of the Horde’s incompetence. It had taken many years for Catra to learn to say she was sorry but apologising for someone else’s mistake was just an. She could say she was sorry, but it wasn’t her mistake to apologise for.

Lucky for Catra, the beautiful blonde was standing at the blonde man’s side. She wasn’t entirely sure if the blondes were a couple but as she approached their features seemed too similar to be anything other than siblings. Not that seducing a beautiful wife for the night was too low for Catra. She didn’t have to deal with the aftermath of infidelity and she was able to provide a lonely woman the best orgasm of her life. Win, win.

Mister Grayskull noticed Catra first and smiled at her. His smile was unguarded and relaxed, despite how tired he appeared. Catra took her hat off her head and flicked her ears as they became free. She put the hat to her chest as she bowed her head politely to the master of the house.

“Mr Grayskull, it’s a pleasure to finally meet you,” she said with relaxed charm. Had Catra not been a hybrid she might have missed the soft gasp the woman made as her eyes landed on Catra. The princess didn’t even try to hide her gaze as she looked Catra up and down slowly with wide eyes.

Catra would have preened under the attention if she wasn’t working so she focused on the slightly shorter blond as he smiled.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you Miss D'riluth” Mr Grayskull said as he bowed his head respectfully in return.

“You have my deepest apologies for the mistake with your cattle, those responsible have been dealt with,” Catra said firmly, letting the last two words drip off her tongue like venom. Let them think whatever they wanted about the mens punishments. The man nodded and smiled.

“Thank you. Well, enough business, have you met my sister?” He asked motioning to the blonde beside him and Catra looked up at her with interest.

The blonde woman seemed unprepared for this introduction and her eyes snapped to her brother as she made a soft sound of distress. Mr Grayskull frowned at her before turning back to Catra’s raised eyebrow.

“Miss D'riluth, my sister, Miss Grayskull,” Mr Grayskull said and Catra watched the blonde fluster slightly before she offered her hand for a masculine handshake. Catra raised an eyebrow further but took her hand, more than a little intrigued why a woman of her standing would use an overtly masculine greeting. Catra tilted the blonde’s hand and placed a kiss on the back as she looked up into her blue eyes. Catra didn’t hold back the desire in her eyes as she held the blonde’s gaze. It flustered her further, raising a blush from her shoulders up to her ears.

Catra stood straight, delighted with her good fortune to find a spitting image of her late best friend to seduce. She would barely need to pretend if she could convince the woman into bed with her. Though the bed was optional.

“Mr Grayskull, may I have a word?” An elderly man asked as he stepped up beside Adam and the blond nodded.

“Of course,” he said, looking at his sister curiously. “Will you be alright for a moment?” he asked and Catra was sure she heard a soft snort from the woman.

“I’ll be fine, Adam,” she said dismissively, and Adam nodded before he moved away with the elderly man to discuss matters. The woman looked back at Catra and seemed to rethink just how fine she was. She seemed nervous but Catra could work with that.

Catra thought for a moment, considering her strategy, and smiled charmingly. It caused a colour to come to the woman’s face.

“Would you like to dance princess?” Catra asked curiously as she offered her hand. The woman looked surprised before she raised an eyebrow in an expression that made Catra’s chest ache. Perhaps the resemblance to Adora was too close to be soothing.

“Princess?” She asked, despite her dress it was obvious when she cocked her hip and crossed her arms under her ample chest. Catra was momentarily distracted by the swells under the fabric and low-cut neckline. When Catra got a hold of herself long enough to look back into those sky-blue eyes she could see the blush on the woman’s cheeks.

“You look positively royal, my dear,” Catra purred, and the fluster moved further down the woman’s neck. Catra watched it disappear under her neckline and wanted to know how far it went. She was tempted to skip the dancing all together and find a quiet corner to bury her hands under that dress. Consensually of course, she knew how to make a woman beg.

The blonde finally took Catra’s hand and Catra felt a jolt run along her skin at the contact. The woman was warm, so warm and soft. But her hands had calluses that continued to intrigued Catra. What was this highborn lady doing that would allow her to get such rough hands?

Catra led her to the dancefloor and pulled the woman against her. The first thing Catra noticed was the deep blush the woman was sporting from the contact. The second thing she realised was the severe lack of bindings. High class women usually wore corsets under their dresses in Catra’s experience. But she only felt fabric and soft flesh.

Catra had taken the dominant position for the dance and used it to lay her hand on the woman’s back. It took every ounce of Catra’s strength to not audibly groan. She desperately needed to unwrap this present. She needed to see what was under this dress and she had no doubt that it would be as equally tantalising as she hoped.

The woman was blushing deeply which caused Catra to realise she had let her hand wander slightly. She corrected herself and looked up at the woman before her. The blonde was easily a foot taller than her, around the same height as Scorpia if she were to guess. The woman was not as muscular as Scorpia, but it was difficult to see in this dress. She did seem unusually toned for her standing. Did she work the ranch in her free time to develop arms like these?

The woman was following Catra’s lead reasonably well but she also seemed unused to the dance. Another interesting point to note. Catra moved her hold lower on the woman’s back to guide her movements better. If it happened to pull her closer Catra was not complaining.

The woman bit her lip, she seemed to be concentrating rather hard based on her furrowed brow.

“You don’t dance often, do you?” Catra asked, she meant no offence, but it still seemed to come out that way. The woman didn’t appear to notice as she smiled with relief.

“No, I don’t. It’s been years since I’ve danced,” the woman said carefully and Catra considered for a moment how long she had been anywhere for dancing. Don’t rich people have parties every week? Surely this woman had plenty of offers to dance. She couldn’t account for people's taste if she did not.

"Do you dance much?" The blonde asked curiously. She lacked the wording of a high society lady; she spoke direct and to the point. No flowery language in sight. Catra wanted to ask so many questions. It had been so long since someone had piqued her interest like this.

“When the mood strikes me,” Catra responded cryptically, she didn’t want the blonde to get a big head. The woman nodded her head, her eyes glancing down at their feet like it would somehow help her follow the steps better. Catra moved her hand from her back and tilted her head up by her chin.

“Eyes on me princess,” Catra said softly as she put her hand back to the woman’s lower back. The woman blushed and Catra saw an opportunity.

“It’s a little warm in here, perhaps you would like to take a walk?” Catra asked and watched the blonde bite her lip for a moment before she nodded in agreement.

Once the dance concluded Catra unfortunately made eye contact with Scorpia as she led the blonde from the room. Scorpia looked both hurt and disappointed and Catra hated that such a simple look could make her feel guilty. She looked away quickly. She wasn’t doing anything wrong, simply indulging in a fantasy.

Once outside they walked down to the garden path and just started meandering towards a flower garden up the side of the house. Catra glanced at the woman walking beside her.

“You look beautiful,” Catra commented gently as she stepped closer to the woman as they walked. She blushed as she looked down at Catra.

“Catra…” The woman breathed softly, a small smile coming to her lips. Catra smirked, her reputation clearly preceded her.

“You know who I am?” Catra asked and the woman looked confused.

“Do…do you not…?” The woman started and stopped, not starting again as she looked at Catra with those sky-blue eyes of hers. Catra’s chest contracted painfully at the sight. She looked too alike to Adora, it was painful. Maybe this wasn’t a good idea. “Why did you bring me out here?” she asked as she stopped walking to look at Catra. Catra knew how much it would hurt to go ahead with this, but damn it if she didn’t love the pain.

“I think you know why,” Catra said, stepping closer to the woman whose eyes got a little bigger before a cocky smile came to her face. It was like a dagger through Catra’s heart, cutting open old wounds to let her bleed out on the ground. But at least she could die happy.

“Oh, yeah?” the woman asked as Catra put her hands on her waist. Catra locked eyes with those beautiful blue and held them captive as she walked the woman backwards to push her against the wood of the side of the house. The blonde released a girly giggle which couldn’t have been less like Adora if it tried and it reassured Catra that she wasn’t in fact dealing with a ghost of her past.

The blonde looked down at Catra and her eyes almost seemed to glow in the moonlight. She was tall, which wasn’t unusual for Catra’s preferences since she wasn’t afraid to climb. The cocky smile still on the blonde’s face made Catra weak in the knees. She only ever topped when she hooked-up with random women because it felt safer, but this woman made Catra want to submit in the most embarrassing way.

Catra ran her hands up the woman’s waist and towards her chest so she could feel her. She watched her blue eyes for any resistance and only saw them darken with desire. Catra wet her lips and pushed her own body up against the woman’s as she finally took two generous handfuls. Miss Grayskull groaned as Catra pinched her excited nipples through the thin silky fabric that covered her chest. The blond leaned her head back against the wall and moaned softly as Catra rolled the stiff peaks between her fingers.

“You’re going to have to be quieter, princess,” Catra warned as her mouth touched the exposed skin of her collarbone. The woman took a shaky breath and shook her head.

“That is absolutely not happening,” she said with a breathy laugh and Catra paused to look up at her, the woman looked down with a cocky smile.

“How about…” The woman said, putting her hands on Catra’s waist, watching carefully as she changed their positions to push Catra against the wall.

Catra didn’t know what possessed her to allow this change in position, it was too easy to give into it. Catra glared up at the woman. “I take care of you…” the woman breathed, the warm air tickling the hair by her ear and causing a shiver. “It would take hours to get into this dress. There are too many layers,” the blonde continued to make her pitch as Catra mauled it over. She didn’t hate the idea, and if the woman was terrible, she could just leave. She did her job, so she could ditch the blonde if her fingers failed to get her going. If she gave into the fantasy that this was Adora it would make sense to let Adora get her off and that was enough to convince her.

“Fine, but you better be good,” Catra growls and the woman shivers as she makes eye contact again. She didn't speak immediately, and the eye contact was making the fluttering in Catra’s chest impossible to ignore. Catra kept eye contact for as long as she could but she needed to break it when the woman grabbed her chin in a firm grip that caused Catra’s breath to catch in her throat and those blue eyes darkened. She looked like a completely different woman, she looked like Adora, ready to please.

“I will be,” she said in a deeper tone filled with authority and Catra squeezed her eyes closed against the tears that pricked at her eyes at the reminder of what she was missing. She would not break down in front of a pretty girl who reminded her of her sweetheart. How much of a cliche could she be?

“Get on with it,” Catra snapped, and the woman chuckled as she released her chin. Soft lips touched Catra’s jaw near her ear and Catra growled.

“No kissing,” Catra said firmly, and the woman pulled back. It was her only rule, she didn’t kiss hookups. The last woman she kissed on the mouth was Adora on the day she went West, and she would die with that woman on her lips.

“Ok,” the woman said softly “what about biting?” she asked and Catra made a soft sound between a growl and a purr, and she finally opened her eyes. The woman was looking at her closed eyes and Catra looked away from her gaze to the woman’s pale neck.

“Biting is fine,” she said, pulling the woman closer and her sharp teeth finding her soft pale skin. The woman moaned too loudly and Catra was reminded why she was receiving instead of this excitable blonde. She released her and the woman looked a little dazed before she leaned into Catra. The blonde didn’t hesitate for a moment before biting hard into a spot on her neck just below her ear. Catra made the most pathetic moan that sounded more like a squeal at the contact. The woman licked the spot she had bitten and chuckled.

“Maybe you can’t be quiet either,” the woman teased almost to herself and Catra growled. She was annoyed just how much that bite had done to her body, she was already aching for attention and practically flooding her underwear.

“Enough stalling” Catra said as she undid her belt and the buttons of her pants. The woman seemed to ignore Catra’s urgency as she ran her hands up and down Catra’s sides, gentle but firm. Like she was petting her to settle her again. On her next sweep up, the woman cupped Catra’s breasts through her shirt and ran her thumbs over her hardened nipples. Catra bit back a groan at the firm slightly calloused touch. She knew she was trembling with the building excitement inside her and she desperately wanted to bite. She needed to ground herself before she floated away.

This woman was reading her like an open book and instead of being sexy, it only spurred her anger. She felt exposed in a way she hadn't in years, and it was like fire in her veins. She was ready to act and ditched this whole experience when the blonde moved her hand to the right area.

"Can I touch you?" She whispered and Catra snorted at the stupid question.

"Kind of the reason we're here princess" Catra snapped, letting out a slither of her anger. The woman didn't respond at all to her snark as she continued with her questions.

"Are you going to be quiet for me?" She breathed against Catra's ear, and she had to suppress a shiver. The blonde returned to kissing her neck while she waited, her mouth sucking hickies into her flesh. Catra groaned as her hips bucked forward looking for friction.

"Get on with it" she growled again, and the woman chuckled like an absolute asshole. It was familiar in the most annoying way, Adora liked to make Catra talk while she was way beyond horny. Like some kind of torture, asking questions and wanting input. It was usually for Catra's benefit but it was annoying as hell. "Yes, I'll be quiet, just do something already" Catra growled, and the woman's long fingers finally slipped below her underwear.

"You're so wet" the woman breathed in reverence. Catra fought the blush that crept up her neck and scoffed. Her breath caught in her throat as the woman's calloused fingers circled her clit like she was a god damn expert. Catra moaned too loudly in her surprise and the woman stopped. "If I can't kiss you to keep you quiet, one of us is going to have to cover your mouth," the woman said in a playful tone.

Catra slapped her own hand over her mouth, like hell she would let this woman gag her. The woman smiled and resumed her ministrations. Catra panted against her hand, pushing it harder against her mouth to try to keep the noises at a reasonable volume. Catra was never one to lose her cool during a dalliance, not anymore at least. She was cool and collected, she would get off and get out. She was even generous enough to ensure her companion got off, but this was something completely different.

"Does that feel good?" The blonde whispered and Catra tried her best to nod as she rocked her hips and moaned against her hand. The woman was kissing and sucking perfect marks into her neck and Catra was gone. She came faster and harder than she ever had, slumping against the wall as she tried to catch her breath. The blonde was holding her up as she gently rocked her and pressed kisses against her neck. Was she humming?

Catra groaned as she forced herself to pull away from the overly familiar embrace. She did up her pants and belt before she looked up at the woman. She already felt uncomfortable in her clothes with her underwear completely ruined. Catra tried to hold in her groan as she saw the woman lick her slick off her fingers with apparent delight. She didn't seem at all dissatisfied with her own pleasure not being handled since they had already discussed the dress problem.

"I'll walk you back inside" Catra offered, and the woman nodded. A cheeky smirk spread across her face.

"Can you walk?" She asked and Catra scoffed. She would be insulted if it weren't so close to the truth.

"Don't get full of yourself, I can walk just fine" Catra said and focused all her energy on walking normally, like her legs weren't made of jelly. She had a reputation to keep.

The woman chuckled like she didn't believe her, but Catra would show her.

As they approached the front doors of the house Scorpia was standing on the patio. Catra raised her eyebrow at her as she and the woman approached.

"Ready to go boss?" Scorpia asked, it wasn't her jovial tone, it was closer to one that said 'we should get out of here'.

"Sure, it was lovely to meet you, Miss Greyskull," Catra said politely with a short bow. The woman huffed.

"It was…" the woman paused, looking at Catra like she hung the moon for just a moment. "See you around Catra," the blonde said with a smirk before she went inside alone.

Catra watched after her, feeling not for the first time tonight that she had seen a ghost.
