14-10-2022: Mostly Sketches + Quick Color
Added 2022-10-14 15:12:38 +0000 UTCHello everyone Sorry it's been a very long time since the last update - I tend to try and keep you posted within the week (or within 10 days) or so But I've been having a very hard time staying focused, or being able to work at all due to the AI art going on. I had hoped it would die down, and perhaps the whole situation is dying down, but the effect on me is quite dire. Every time I try to get started on cycle contents, my desire to draw dissipates knowing whatever I do will get stolen and used against my will anyway. As it always does in this industry. Knowing that my 15+ years of learning and practice, that go into each and every one my pieces, are being used in these AI generators still pisses me off to this day. In any case. Moping aside. Here's what I did manage to draw since the last post. Much of it will be focusing on things I want to draw (instead of friends or their OCs) NOTE: If this situation doesn't improve, if I'm still unable to bring myself to work on Subscribestar cycle rewards by the end of October, I'm considering either: 1) removing the tiers, leaving only the tip jars, 2) taking a hiatus, or 3) deactivating/retiring until I'm able to work in a consistent manner again 1) Drew my Alyssee while stuck at the office 2-3) I love these two from Xenoblade Chronicles 3 (Eunie x Taion), so wanted to draw them at some point 4-6) More Alyssee in her element 7) Cooldown drawing; potential YCH op 8-9) Some bonus Home Alone panels for you all (before wolfdoggo is returned to his owner) 10) Quickie + Colors in response to a poll I held on Twitter (in which Werewolf BF won)
