Video Schedule: December 2024 (Week 5)

Happy New Year! A little early, but we are almost there! Any New Year's plans? We are having our usual small party New Year's Eve with some friends and family! Otherwise, I'd probably go to sleep before midnight 😅

Jessica, Tom, Mom and I plan on reacting in the new year. Kim now and again, but she has a lot going on in her life right now. She has been working a lot and spending a lot of time with her daughter's family who is going through a tough time with aggressive child cancer. Kim really wants to react with us still when she has the time though!

Mom is doing a lot better too! It's been a crazy 2 months since Mom and I got back from Florida in November, OMG! 😅🤪 Finally on the mend! She also asked to have this past week off, so The Help is also a SOLO Reaction by me!

Mom and I plan on watching Daryl Dixon Season 2 very soon! We were supposed to start it early December, but the universe was against it! I also want to watch FROM and SQUID GAMES!

Hope you all are doing well and thanks again for being here!!! xoxo

I hope you guys watch wicked

The Movie Buff

I never say it's required to watch. I was giving suggestions and it's what I hope for. Anyone can request any movie even though it's not really a best movie and everyone has different opinions. Since the multiverse exists in the MCU, every non-MCU Marvel movies and television series created by different companies are canon to the Marvel multiverse. So I thought maybe it would be great to watch other Marvel movies for possible surprising appearance. I know they met Elodie Yung's Elektra from Daredevil Netflix series but there are other variants of the multiverse which is not the same person. Ever since Deadpool & Wolverine, Jennifer Garner's Elektra from Daredevil (2003) did appeared and they did enjoyed watching Daredevil movie to be surprised of cameo appearance and it's not a waste of a reaction. The 2000's Marvel movies are complete nostalgic and Marvel brings back the legacy which is an absolute fun moment of all. Also, I know there are some criticism and mixed reviews about Morbius movie but regardless, since Eddie Brock from Venom movie appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home post credits scene, the Sony's Spider-Man Universe franchise is part of MCU canon via multiverse. Venom movies and Morbius movie are set in the same universe which is Earth-688 but I didn't say it's linked to Venom 3. So this is just my opinion, I think they got to check out the post credits scene of Morbius. Because without watching it, they will miss out something very important in the future for MCU reactions. As a huge Marvel enthusiast, I always give helpful suggestions of Marvel content reactions. I can also help Storm with info if they miss out some certain things from other movies. Isn't that what Patreon is for? Anyone can request any movie they want reactors to watch.

Why bother though? Daredevil was never required viewing. They already met an Elektra during the Daredevil Show. You just had to spam regularly claiming it was required when it resulted in a waste of a reaction that could have been saved for another movie. All of those Pre-MCU movies can be skipped (aside from Blade II and Ghost Rider.) Morbius is one of the worst movies ever made that is not linked to Venom 3.

I’m planning to go watch a screening for When Harry Met Sally on New Year’s Eve

One more thing to let you know, there's a brand new Marvel comic called TVA #1 (2024) which came out recently and this comic book shows the cover art of Mobius, B-15, Sylvie, OB, and Miss Minutes (including the two cartoon clock characters), Spider-Gwen (not the same one from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse), Captain Carter (I don't know if that's the same one from What If series), and Gambit (probably not the same Channing Tatum's Gambit from Deadpool & Wolverine). This comic book is written by Katharyn Blair (who also worked on MCU's Loki series) and drawn by artist Pere Perez and the story continues after the events of Loki Season 2. There will be 5 issues of TVA comic series. The MCU is officially connected to the Marvel Comics continuity, as a new comic series debuts which acts as a bridge between the live-action universe and the pages of the comics. The TVA comic series directly ties the MCU and Marvel's main comic continuity together. The TVA is becoming something like a bridge between all the formats of media that comprise the Marvel Universe. Existing outside of space and time, the TVA works as an axis, in the middle of everything, and creates the opportunity for comics to cross into live-action and vice versa, and for all universes to connect to each other. In other words, characters from Marvel's main comic continuity can visit the MCU. The Marvel comics universe and the MCU are both labeled Earth-616 but they're not the same universe. The MCU's original designation was labeled Earth-199999 which we can tell the difference.

For the new year, I'll be requesting these non-MCU Marvel movies: Hulk (2003), The Punisher (2004), and Ghost Rider (2007). I think watching these movies would be a good preparation for the possible multiverse appearances. Another possibility is that a new Avengers movie (which will premiere next year in 2026) could be the next biggest multiverse event. Hopefully you could try reacting to Hulk (2003), The Punisher (2004), and Ghost Rider (2007) before continuing watching MCU movies to see if there's a possibility of these movies could be involved in the multiverse just like the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home and Deadpool & Wolverine. If you're planning to react to these movies: Blade II, Blade: Trinity, Elektra (Director's Cut), and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, just my opinion: it's best to not mention about Deadpool & Wolverine which is considered spoilers and it's a special MCU multiverse movie that featured unexpected surprising cameos. The reason is there might be some viewers who may not have seen Deadpool & Wolverine. If you want to talk about Deadpool & Wolverine in these Marvel movies reactions, I would suggest talking about it towards at the end of review discussion and make sure you say "spoiler alert" to let the audience know before talking about Deadpool & Wolverine.

My plan is to watch Wicked which will hit Digital on New Eyes Eve and play some board games with friends on New Years Day.

I hope Kim's granddaughter is doing okay. I'll wait for Marvel contents reactions such as What If…? Season 3 or other Defenders Saga series: Iron Fist Season 2, The Punisher Season 2, and Jessica Jones Season 3. Hoping for Morbius (2022) reaction before reacting to Venom 3.
