Umi is glad to have met her, because her friend Kotori has a request for Aki. But she isn't there at the moment, so maybe Nuvia could take care of that. Umi takes Nuvia to Kotori and introduces them both. Kotori explains to Nuvia that she would like her mannequins to be enchanted to arrest shoplifters by turning them into mannequins as well. Nuvia tells her that this is a bad plan and that it's better to turn someone into a mannequin because they're better at watching out for shoplifters. Unfortunately, Kotori has no employees and Umi has no time either. Also, it should be someone who can keep the secret of the existence of magic. So it is that Nuvia applies to work for Kotori and is hired by her. At the beginning of her shift, Kotori gives Nuvia clothes that she should wear. Then she goes into the sales room, poses and transforms herself into a mannequin so that she can keep an eye on things without being suspicious. The first few days pass without incident until a young couple enters the boutique. While the girl distracts Kotori, the boy rips an expensive necklace off Nuvia's neck. Nuvia has transformed back and shows Kotori what happened. Kotori then decides to keep the two as mannequins. Nuvia agrees and gets them both into a better mannequin pose. She also notes that she's spied something on the girl and they should question her later. At the end of the day the next day, the two bring the girl to the back and Nuvia only transforms her head back. The girl introduces herself as Marisa and apologizes to Kotori. She is homeless and penniless and the boy forced her to take part in the theft in exchange for a place to sleep and food. Besides, he would blame her all if she left him. Nuvia realizes that Marisa is telling the truth because as a mannequin she could hear everything. That's Nuiva's safety precaution, not to punish innocent people. Kotori proposes a deal to Marisa. She will remain a mannequin for a few more days to atone for the theft and then would Kotori hire her as a permanent employee. And Nuvia offers her to live with her. Besides, she doesn't have to worry about the boy, because he'll have to serve out his sentence as a mannequin for quite some time. Marisa is grateful for the chance they are giving her and promises not to disappoint her. The next day she stands side by side with Nuvia and both presents as a mannequins bikinis. A few days later, Nuvia takes Marisa to her house. She gives her a new haircut and new things to symbolically underpin her new beginning. Then the two girls talk. Marisa is a bit embarrassed when she realizes that she has to share a bed with Nuvia. Nevertheless she agrees and they both go to sleep. During the night, Nuvia wakes up and finds Marisa clinging to her body and using her chest as a pillow. Nuvia then strokes her, hugs her and goes back to sleep.
