Sharon sounds particularly jaded after the events of Winter Soldier and Civil War, and she's clearly involved in a fair bit of grey-area shenanigans in Madripoor (if nothing else but for sheer survival). Still, it strikes me as odd she'd so readily take Sam's word that he can swing a pardon for her - especially when he can't even finagle a bank loan for the family business. Guess we'll have to wait and see if it connects to the other irons she has in the fire.

2021-04-06 05:44:06 +0000 UTCMCU teasing us with more X-Men material, this time with Madripoor, best known as a SE Asian, Casablanca-style hangout for Wolverine on his days off from fighting Magneto, Apocalypse, et al. After WandaVision and Pietro, I won't be holding my breath for anything more than this snifter, but it makes me wonder if upcoming series like Loki will dangle similar X-bait in front of us.
