When you think about how Kate's lived her life, since she did whatever it is she did, she's used to being on the run, not getting attached to people. It's not so much that she was offended Jack wasn't hitting on her, it's that she fundamentally doesn't agree with Jack's plan to settle into a shelter, making a "home" and wants to be able to leave if rescue arrives as soon as possible.

2020-12-04 08:39:05 +0000 UTCAdding onto Zammmer answering questions - Supposedly the caves were one mile from the beach camp. It's not a long journey but still significant It wouldn't take a whole day, or even half a day to travel it. Maybe 15-30 min walk?
