Movie POLL- VOTE & Request here!
Added 2020-11-24 00:07:36 +0000 UTCHi all and welcome back! Time for another POLL!
Thank you for all your requests, your support and being patient!
Requests that didn't make it in are probably on our LIST, but feel free to request again to bump them back to the top! I do keep track of all requests! Or try my best too :) Please don't get discouraged if your request isn't super popular.. we do randomly select one almost every week to give every request a fighting chance :)
Any trolling, do not engage. Let me know and I'll handle it. That person will be banned and then their VOTES will disappear. We want to keep this fair and fun.
Please give us a week or so so watch what WINS, edit and upload. :)
Thank you everyone for supporting us!

It had won the Underdog Poll from last week, so I expect that we might hopefully see a reaction to it some time this very weekend. ;)

2020-11-25 21:26:29 +0000 UTCWill you be watching The New Mutants? I personally do not think its a good movie but since you have watched all the other x men movies and this is the last one I'm curious
2020-11-25 16:34:43 +0000 UTCGood Will Hunting is a classic that needs to be seen.

2020-11-25 05:10:02 +0000 UTCIt's great for Kevin Hart and The Rock that this rebooted Jumanji franchise took off. Those guys just don't get enough work.
DDJ
2020-11-24 22:24:52 +0000 UTCThat's a loaded question, cause what's funny is SO subjective. Me, personally? I thought it's humor was typical by-the-numbers low-bar (not low-brow which is a TOTALLY different thing) humor and storytelling that's well... typical of these kind of movies. Then again, if you think Kevin Hart in movies is hilarious and love anything "The Rock" is in, you'll probably like it.
2020-11-24 20:35:38 +0000 UTCI voted for Jumanji but please react to the Grinch for Christmas! It's not only may fav Christmas film but it's in my top 5 movies of all time lol Jim Carey is a legend. You'll all love it!!!
2020-11-24 20:32:19 +0000 UTCWhat is it that people liked about the Jumanji remake so much? Was it really funny? I haven't seen it yet.

2020-11-24 16:05:21 +0000 UTCI'd kill for a Romantic Comedy reaction at this point lol, so I definitely second the suggestion to make As Good As It Gets a random choice. Come on guys! (Not the Storm Akima crew, but like guys in general) If someone like me can enjoy movies like The Godfather and Lethal Weapon (typical guy movies), you guys can enjoy a Romantic Comedy. 😛 Let's diversify the Storm Akima Reaction library a bit! Vote for some more Rom-coms! ;D They're not all syrupy, cheesy girly romps. Some of them are actually really good movies with wonderful writing, fun and funny characters, great performances and surprisingly engaging drama and wise life-lessons and thought-provoking perspectives in not just relationships but for life in general that can apply to every one! :)
2020-11-24 09:15:45 +0000 UTCyou don't really need to watch "die hard 2" i'd go to "die hard with a vengeance" after die hard also MORE studio ghibli!!!! starting with spirited away and ponyo! much love

2020-11-24 07:22:50 +0000 UTCRequest straight from New Zealand 🇳🇿 The Fastest American Indian / The Warriors / Big (Tom Hanks) / Once We Were Warriors / Blach Hawk Down... Thank you ow sorry forgot to mention one all-time favourite... To Sir With Love.
2020-11-24 06:49:46 +0000 UTCThe Crow definitely needs to make a poll at some point. Also, Heath Ledger's Joker was inspired a bit from Brandon Lee's performance in that film. Have to say I'm not crazy about Shakespeare in Love. It's a well made movie but just did not do anything for me. Meet Joe Black is a romance film I would recommend.

2020-11-24 06:42:22 +0000 UTCHaven’t we all had enough animation?

2020-11-24 06:27:35 +0000 UTCI'm going to request Moana again. Was I the only one that liked that movie? It seems like nobody has requested it besides me.
2020-11-24 05:37:36 +0000 UTCI feel like they would love the social network

2020-11-24 04:58:54 +0000 UTCGlad to see The Lego Movie on here.

2020-11-24 04:22:19 +0000 UTCLots of good choices here and glad to see As Good As It Gets on a poll, although it's probably best suited for the Underdog. It would be a great choice for a random reaction when the Storm Crew wants to take a break from the action or thrilling films. It's a movie that Mom and Kim would really enjoy. Anyway, here are my weekly movie requests: The Long Kiss Goodnight( Geena Davis, Samuel L. Jackson) Ransom (Mel Gibson, Gary Sinese) Outbreak ( Dustin Hoffman, Morgan Freeman) Panic Room (Jodie Foster, Forest Whitaker) Rounders (Matt Damon, Edward Norton)
Justin S.
2020-11-24 04:01:38 +0000 UTCDunkirk's been on the poll 4 times out of the last 5 - might be a good idea to go ahead and make it a random pick. Possible Popular movie requests, but probably not: The Crow 1994 Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story 1993 Lost In Translation 2003 (I guess Scarlett Johansson would count as a big name and current too cause of Marvel?) Annihilation 2018 Shakespeare In Love 1998 Girl, Interrupted 1999
2020-11-24 02:53:30 +0000 UTCFor the Holidays, I'm recommending, "The Santa Clause" Franchise. You already have "Nightmare Before Christmas" on this List.
Darius.
2020-11-24 02:37:51 +0000 UTCI'd like to see a reaction to "Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan".
JMiles
2020-11-24 02:24:59 +0000 UTCStorm Akima... is there any chance you can do movie reactions for the following movies: - "The Mummy Returns" - "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" - "San Andreas" - "Twister" - "The Prince of Egypt" - "Kong: Skull Island" - "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" - "Crazy Rich Asians" - "Pokemon: Detective Pikachu" You should also do reactions for the new Netflix series that came out in September: "Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous."
2020-11-24 02:08:12 +0000 UTCI really want to see then react to LETHAL WEAPON, the definitive Buddy Cop action movie (and a favorite of mine too) for those who'd want to make that kind of movie. "I'm too old for this shit." ;D

2020-11-24 01:20:57 +0000 UTCGonna ask, probably to no avail, can we do Reservoir Dogs?
2020-11-24 01:07:32 +0000 UTCIt’s still November, V for Vendetta please?!?
2020-11-24 01:04:02 +0000 UTCI've got some Denzel Washington movies to recommend. John Q, American Gangster, John Q, Out of Time, Deja Vu, Crimson tide, Devil in a Blue Dress, Training Day, Courage Under Fire, Remember the Titans

2020-11-24 00:42:46 +0000 UTCI was literally going to post this same exact hot take. Die Hard 2 isn't bad. But despite it sharing many similar elements to the first movie (Christmas, returning cast members, one central location, McClane "partnering" with someone via radio), it doesn't quite feel the same due to a change in directors. I honestly wouldn't mind if the ladies watched both 2 and 3. But if they had to choose just one Die Hard sequel to watch, then they should go straight to 3 (Die Hard with a Vengeance.) Even though it changes a lot of the core elements, it just *feels* like Die Hard, thanks to the return of John McTiernan in the director's chair. Also, I think they'd enjoy seeing Samuel L. Jackson.

2020-11-24 00:18:47 +0000 UTCSince my suggestions from last week probably not gonna win, my suggestions for the next poll are Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Blues Brothers, Tommy Boy, The Breakfast Club, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Superman 1978, Batman 1989, Kubo and the Two Strings, Aquaman, Air Force One, and Birds of Prey.

2020-11-24 00:14:06 +0000 UTCYou should skip Die Hard 2 and go right to 3, I don't think many will mind. 3 is much better than 2, and is more of a direct sequel to the first one anyway.
