Trivia about the WIP (Blood Legacies)

Initially, I intended to base this WIP on Arthurian legends. Norton (the mc's ancestor who betrayed the kingdom and wanted to conquer Petrus) would be Mordred, Adas Elkar (the ancestor of the Elkar family) would be Arthur. The Marven family would actually be descended from the Green Knight and the mc descended from Mordred, having magic and being half-faerie.
The opening scene would be like a capture the flag game (PJO style).
But I didn't know much about copyright issues and ended up having other ideas I wanted to explore, so I set it aside.
The idea of ice powers came from me watching Frozen (yes, Frozen, the movie) and the inspiration for elemental powers like light, fire, etc., came from Shadow and Bone and Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Darian was inspired by Krypton (I found the concept of being born with a genetic predisposition to be a warrior and so on, as well as noble houses, interesting, so I applied some things to the WIP, such as houses with military lineages), and the creation chamber was also inspired by the concept of the Kryptonians' gene chamber (where basically clones are created).
The inspiration for the region being more composed of snow came from the north of Game of Thrones.
